John G. Lake: The Complete Collection of His Life Teachings

I am at a loss for words. Dr. Lake's sermons contain some of the most inspiring testimonies I've ever heard, esp on divine healing. What's more is that it is clear that Dr. Lake had a teaching gift as well. My heart really has been seaching for someone in modern times whose life I can look to in order to become more like Jesus. Dr. Lake fulfills that. Many people I greatly respect have been encouraged by this book. It deals primarily with healing, but touches on science, apologetics, faith, love, purity, music, demonic powers, and especially God's anointing. I loaned this book to an unsaved academic couple one time (German, into Anthroposophy and such) and one of them returned it later saying "I don't know what it was about that book, but I had the most incredible dreams after reading it." There are many stories in the book that will abosolutely inspire you to greater heights in God, and to dream impossible dreams in Him! If you are interested in being a world changer for Jesus, buy this book and read it. Look beyond the man, and see the awesome things God wants to do with YOUR life in Him.

A great compilation of Brother Lake’s teaching. His words are inspiring and his compassion towards people is beautiful. It’s hard to put the book down once you pick it up. This man was truly on fire for God! A powerhouse in the Holy Ghost. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the lord and wants to learn more about great Christian leaders and how they walked mightily by the power of the Holy Ghost.

This is the best book next to the Bible you could read.This man was a literal continuation of the book of acts!read it!get these truths in your heart,then go out and be a disciple of Jesus!

I have read some good books on John G Lakes powerful healing ministry by the power of the Holy Spirit before. But this goes further as it contains all his known sermons,with their inspiring revelation from the Bible .THEY ARE STILL CUTTING EDGE TODAY .John G Lake is no longer with us BUT he went further than a lot of christians and church leaders have gone in the Lord. it is NOT A HISTORY BOOK but a manual that when used with Gods Word can help people to get healed, delivered, grow in faith, dare to step longer out ever in their lives.John G Lake was a father in the faith and we can follow from examples he learned the hard way . The excellent documentation of healings and their witnesses testifying under oath as to what God did serves as a clear bell declaring that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday , today and forever. I showed the book to a Shaman ,a "healer"from Western Africa and told him a little of what God did through John G Lake. He was amazed. I bought 2 copies of this book because the Lord told me to give my first copy to one of the pastors in our church who was reading about bible-based healing . If we could learn to heal people like John G Lake we would impact the world for Jesus.Besides ,,,,JESUS WANTS US TO.And healing accompanies the gospel . This book is a "must-read" if you want GOD to show you something phenomenal but possible in Him . To GOD BE ALL GLORY .

I haven't finished it yet, but over halfway through and this is amazing. So many amazing testimonies of healing and especially his early sermons are exceptional. I have been very blessed with this collection and eagerly seek healing for my family and others, being encouraged by John Lake's writings.

Daily reading of the Bible is such a joy. To add to this experience, sermons written by John G. Lake add even more relevancy and the power of the Word of God. I can't put this book down nor read it quickly. One paragraph leaves you digging deeper into the Bible. It makes you realize sermons about the Word are timeless. There is so much more that comes with this text, evidence of Lake's life, milestones, and His ministry. John G. Lake is a leader of the pentecostal movement in the early 1900s. During his ministry, he is known for healings over 100,000 people through prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.
