One Small ChildDavid Christening Baptism Blessing Outfit for Boys

My son was 4 months old when he was Baptized. He is in the 99th percentile for weight and height and at the time was wearing 6-9 month clothes. I purchased the 9 month size to be on the safe side and if his Baptism had been one week later I don't think it would have fit. I only detracted one star for sizing because it might fit the average 9 month old just fine, but being the proud mother of a moose baby, I wouldn't know. I didn't like a lot of other Christening outfits I had seen, the ones made of shiny fabric, with cummerbunds or quilted looking vests. I just wanted something simple and beautiful and this was it. My son seemed comfortable in it and being he was baptized in the summer I'm sure he appreciated it only being one layer. It iswell made and I'll definitely be holding onto it in case any more little boys come along.

A really sweet baptismal outfit for a little boy - I'm so glad we went with this instead of a long gown. I would give this five stars, but the material was just a touch on the thin side for a $70 garment - but in no way kept us from keeping and loving it. It does come with a bonnet, but we didn't use that.I love the fabric covered buttons on the back and the snaps on the bottom for easy diaper access. A word of warning, we had to return and buy 2 sizes up for our admittedly "robust" 5 month old - we thought 9 months would work, but had to go up to 12 months. Returning the too-small size was super easy and we got the new size very quickly.

I bought this for my son's baptism. He was about 5 months old and it was an August baptism. This was very, very cute. It's more simple than many other options, but that's what I wanted for him. I initially did not intend to use the bonnet, but oh my gosh, it was SO cute I had to have him wear it. The outfit is light weight, which is good for the summer months. I hand washed and then very carefully ironed it, and it looked great. It looked just like the picture, and the quality was very nice. I was very, very happy with it.My son was 5 months old, and I purchased the 12 month size and it fit very well. Not too big, and not too small.

This outfit was really cute, and it fit well (although runs small.) I ordered a 9 month size for my 4 month old because he's really long- it fit him nicely with a little room. I took off two stars because the material is really thin (you'd have to put a onesie underneath unless you want to see the diaper.) Also, it's made in China and smells like it. Probably why it feels a little cheap. We ended up going with a Lauren Madison (made in USA.)

I love this outfit and will keep it as an heirloom for my son. It is adorable and is very well made with great detailing.But it runs very small so make sure that you pay attention to the size chart. I ordered a size larger than I thought I needed, and while the outfit fit him, it was a wee bit short in the crotch. He is only 4 1/2 months old, I got him the 9 month size, but he probably would have been more comfortable in the 12 month size, if that tells you anything!

It is very cute, but thin material. My baby will have to wear a onesie under it. It came in a package that was shoved into my mailbox so it was wrinkled. I would have thought for it being almost $70 they would but it in a box so it couldn't get damaged. I was upset also at the fact that one if the buttons was hanging on by a thread when I took it out of the package. I had to remove it and reattach it. I would have expected this from a cheaper outfit. I love the style of the romper and the fact that it fit my baby well, just the quality was not what I expected.

We looked for a romper for our son as opposed to a "dress" because he would be nearly 8 months old at his baptism. The outfit arrived perfectly pressed and ready to wear right out of the bag. The sizing was appropriate. The fabric does not stretch and is expensive-looking. I feel the price we paid was equal to the workmanship of the romper. Very pleased!

I loved it - usinf the measurement guide to order as described, a size 24 month fit my 7 month old grandson perfectly! The outfit was the perfect weight for a late April baptism in the Phoenix area - not too heavy and not too light - and it arrived it perfect shape. No need to iron before his big day!
