It's a perfectly good wooden post, as described.

A good piece of wood, nicely finished and seems strong.
Bought to use as a front gate post, and I feel confident it'll stand there for many years to come. Delivered faster than expected too. Only thing to moan about here would be the price, but I guess you're paying for the delivery. As I didn't fancy carrying one back from a builder's supplier, I guess that just is what it is.
