4-rth Men's Fusion Crosstrain Gym & Yoga Short-Short Modal French Terry Made in America Stretch Fit European Style

In my earlier review I commented that the style may be a little skimpy or revealing for what I am used to in crosstraining or at the gym, but they make great (if expensive) sleep shorts. And really they are WONDERFUL to sleep in. But today with a support layer underneath I wore them on the bike at the gym, and frankly while a little smaller than what I am used to they were quite comfortable for the exercise bike as well. Still they are going to be primarily for sleep, but I did wear them at the gym.--- Earlier Review ---I don't do much yoga but bought these to use as sleep shorts and perhaps for cross training in the gym.The style might be a little revealing at the fitness center, but are great sleep shorts and I love them in the Florida climate. So comfortable! But $36 is a little on the high side for that purpose; especially since just going commando is free ha ha.As for sizing, I am right on the cusp between L and XL, bought the larger but in hindsight could've gone either way. In other words their size estimates are pretty good.Appreciated the prompt delivery and the hand-jotted thank-you note, with a heads up on future products, that was written onto the shipping document inside.

I was very skeptical of these shorts, even after I received them. The fabric, when dry, feels similar to a ribbed cotton T-shirt. So I was wondering if they would also perform like a soggy wet t-shirt once I got sweaty. The opposite happened. It's difficult to explain, but the fabric actually gets more comfortable (at least for a hot yoga practice) once it gets wet. It also conforms to and moves with your body but in a very comfortable way. I didn't have to adjust the boys even once for any flow or pose. It's almost like wearing nothing, except everything is kept exactly where it needs to be. Guys, if you do hot yoga, you should order one in every color. I have a 31 waist and I ordered a small. The waist is actually a little roomy (elasticized and no draw string...kind of like wearing your favorite gym shorts without underwear, but that was another reason why my initial concern was that once they got wet, they'd expand, become too heavy, and fall down, etc.) The roominess actually adds to the comfort level experienced. There's no tight band restricting you around the waist, but they stayed in place the whole class, even during inversions. Again...guys, if you're doing hot yoga in board shorts or an athletic swimsuit (what I used to do), ditch them and go with these.

Ive been doing Bikram Yoga for a few years now. These shorts are great. Ive tried many different yoga shorts and these were the first that were made of a Terry like material. They are mens yoga shorts so expect them to fit like yoga stuff fits. IMO they are not too revealing for yoga class. There are drawstring holes with no drawstrings...weird but I guess its styling. This concerned me at first but I had zero issue with the shorts staying in place wether dry or soaked with sweat. I am 5'11" 160 lbs with a 30" waist. I ordered the small. The medium would have given me a saggy butt look. Id pick up a pair if I were you. These are very awesome lounge shorts but I wouldn't wear them for a gym workout as they won't hold your nuts in place..

Maybe a little shorter than expected but great product.

I already owned a pair of the cuffed yoga shorts (which I love) but was looking for something more suited for hot yoga. After some searching and reading the reviews I decided to give these a try. They are incredible! The fit is as per the product description. I am 175", 32" waist with muscular thighs and butt and ordered a medium. When they arrived I thought they may be a little large, but after one session in the hot room saw that they stayed in place exactly how they needed to without riding up or needing adjustment - which I find even my lulus need a tug during certain poses. It really feels like you are wearing nothing at all! I plan on ordering another few pairs once I give these a wash and see how well they hold up. All that being said, this is a yoga short... they are form fitting in a hot room, but I don't intend to wear these out of the studio unless just lounging at home.

The owner of this company was on "Millionaire Matchmaker" some time ago. Anyway, to those complaining about the size and fit of these, comparing them to 'underwear'--common sense, these are yoga shorts. And I've never even done yoga! These are terry-cloth shorts that at 5'9", stop about a quarter up my leg from my knee, as seen on the White model in the grey shorts. In fact, it's that exact fit on me. Again, I'm 5'9", hovering between 155 and 160 lbs, and a medium is perfect for me. Now, I'll say that if you're wearing these for yoga class, exercise or something 'nother, then definitely put on some briefs, trunks or a strap. These are akin to thin 'terry cloth' to the touch, so some seams of undergarments may show. But A) no one should be looking and B) if they *are* thirsty enough to look, they'll just think it's part of the clothes. Anyhoo, if you're man enough to wear shorts that are much bigger than Chubbies...buy these. If skirt-shorts are your style, go to the sporting goods store. Ya' welcome. ^_^--Javan H.

I was so happy with 4-rth's  4-rth Eco-Track Short  that I wanted to try their shorter shorts. For your reference, the Track Shorts are the "longest", the  Gym Shorts  are medium in length, and the  Yoga Shorts)  are the shortest.These gym shorts are just as comfortable for Yoga, in fact, you could lounge around the house with them as well. They are form-fitting without being tight, and the fabric feels so good to wear. As most Americans prefer a looser fit, please know that these fit as expected and are pretty fitted.There are two holes at the front, which is an odd design detail. I presume a strap used to be on there to tighten the shorts? Or maybe this decision was deliberate. In any case, it's a nice detail if anything.These are comfortable shorts that make your butt look amazing. That's the final word. Recommended.
