It’s pretty good. I like having it.
Ok here’s what’s up. My hubs and I installed this. It wasn’t overly difficult to run the wires in our Grand caravan. You need a set of RCA’s and like 12 gauge wire or smaller, about 10-15 feet each. The picture is great, clear and bright. The Dodges won’t run the monitor without hacking the software if the car doesn’t come with the entertainment system initially. I bought an unlock key for it called a Jippo Play a few months prior. The problem with no audio out is this. If you try to put the media into the monitor, (through the HDMI on the monitor, for example) I get no sound. You have to take the audio out from the back of the radio and connect it right back into itself to get sound through the speakers, (so you need a second set of RCA’s but just the two audio lines.) If I use the in dash DVD player in the vehicle as the source, then the audio is good but otherwise you won’t get sound.) So plugging the media into the monitor doesn’t work on my vehicle but it’s not that way on car that are not locked to only use OEM parts. If I put a Nintendo Switch in the van and connect the Switch to the audio jack, then that works also but it’s a pain and a lot of loose wires while you travel. All in all, I would recommend this monitor.*TIP* There is no premade mount/housing for any vehicle that I know of that is this large. So in order to stabilize it and distribute the weight over a wider area, you need to put something above the headliner, and mount it to that. I used a long thin piece of metal from the hardware store with pre-drilled holes. The screws that go through the monitor piece to the mounting plate are a HUGE pain In the butt and that will take two people to get done. Someone has to hold the monitor up while the other “uses their magic” to try to find the pilot holes and screw it in.Post script - There are two sets of RCA jacks on the monitor. I imagine that one is the input and possibly the second set will output the SOUND from the monitor. There are several other Reviews that say that there is no audio out but why would this be made with an HDMI port if you could never hear the sound from it? I will update this when I give that a shot but screwing it in was such a pain that it will be a while before we do that mess again.

Easy install
So easy to use and install. My son was able to use it with his phone instantly. Big screen, great volume quality. Didn’t even have to connect it to my truck speakers.

No good
This was a waste of time! It turn on and everything was working on and then stopped working. There was no power happening so I go check and everything was on and working on my end with the car. So it seem that it’s the monitor it self not working. Now I have to look for an American product cause China products not build right.

It'll do
The instructions that come with the unit are useless. The build quality feels about as good as the cheapest Windows laptop you could buy. For the price though this was expected. The screen looks good, install took about 3 hours. I installed in a 2004 Toyota Sienna which already had a factory overhead player which I removed and retrofitted the bracket to fit this unit. There are a number of AV cables that would be taking up a lot of space, I didn't want them so I cut them off, along with the door wires, just to save space. After I finished the install I took my 3 kids on a 5 hour trip, it's was the most peaceful trip I've had in years. This occupied them the entire time and they kept telling me how cool it was. I played videos from a thumb drive. For anyone who buys this and is planning on playing video files from a thumb drive you'll need to know that mp4 compatibility as a blanket statement in the product specs is not that accurate. I found that mov files play fine and videos recorded from the iPhone play just fine as well. I've got a very large collection of movies which are all in 1080p30 mp4 format. None of the video files from my library worked. None of them. I was able to figure out that if I used the program Handbrake (free) to convert video files using the preset called "H.265 Apple VideoToolbox" (can be found under Hardware in the Handbrake preset list) then all videos worked. There's a huge downside to this as it's only available by default in Mac. I would very much like to see what the official video format options are from the manufacturer.

Bigger than expected
This turned out to be larger than expected. Make sure you have a flat space large enough to mount this before you order! The positive and negative dome light options are great. This is the first unit I've installed where that worked well. The lights would be better if they had a warmer temp. The bright white never matches the other dome lights. You may need to mount a larger plate or board first if there is a large gap between the headliner and roof.

PRETTY BIG
Measure twice! I ordered it because it was the biggest I found. I love the screen was super simple to install but is boarder line to big for our van otherwise a great product

Sound could be better
We got this for a trip to the beach. The video quality is amazing. The screen size is fantastic. Instillation wasn’t to hard my husband installed it himself. There isn’t great directions to install. I wish we could make the sound louder. Or even hook it to the car radio it wouldn’t work.
