Q: What's the affect on grass / soil? Can we play the colors in our yard / garden without harm to the soil?

We used it on our school's grass soccer field, and there were no problems at all. I don't know how it would be on soil, but it is such a fine powder that it disappeared by the end of the evening with no harm to the grass.

Q: If i burn it will it turn into smoke?

The adage youbget what youbpay for certainly applies here. We bought this 2 years ago for a camp color war. They were great. Went with a cheaper product last summer and we had problems with staining and stinging eyes. We went back to this product this summer and had no problems. As far as burning the product, I can’t answer that question.

Q: can you mix this in a laytex paint

It shouldn't hurt but I'm not sure it will color it like you would want.

no, it is finer meant to be thrown and not stain the skin.
