looks great
We love the look and the dead bolt key pad. With that said, the dead bolt motor does not have a lot of power as it is battery driven thus it needs to move in and out without any friction what so ever. Also as noted by one of the other reviews the set up on the instructions is incomplete leaving you to figure it out. I would still buy it again.

Great quality and features!!!
Really nice door set. Solid made and smooth operation. I put in a kwikset electronic deadbolt on the back door and this was almost identical electronics, does not appear to be a chinese knockoff. I ran into one issue that caused quite a bit of confusion, this was when unlocking the door after you press the keypad the initially to display the numbers, random numbers would appear which led me to believe this was defective. (picture shown) Turns out this is a security feature so all the keypad numbers are used instead of just the ones to unlock the door. Reasoning is this is a smooth keypad and shows finger prints. A person might be able to guess your code if only the numbers of your code on the keypad have fingerprints on them. After talking to manufacturers customer service department (very helpful and courteous) they explained that and admitted the product documentation does not cover this very well thus the 4 star review. Otherwise, very nice door set and love the look of the smooth keypad over the buttons at a very good price point.

Looks great, works great. Don't pick a user code that starts with zero, somehow that was a problem. It's new but so far we love it.

It starts to beep when it gets too cold...
We've had this lock for over a year now. It looks great and for the most part functions perfectly. However, it beeped in the middle of the first cold fall night last year and startled all of us. I had to remove all the batteries to stop it from beeping. After a few warmer days, I put the batteries back in and it functioned just fine. It did this again this year. I suspect it has a hard time adjusting to the sudden drop of temperature.
