I thought it'd be nice to have some for when we go to crowded ...
A friend of mine bought some of these from a different seller, and after she showed me some of the features they have, I thought it'd be nice to have some for when we go to crowded events with the kids. However, the ones that she showed me, while they looked identical to these, were actually much different for a variety of reasons. Ultimately, these ones were a few dollars cheaper, so for that reason, I can't harp too much; however, the ones my friend had purchased had a rotating piece where the spring connects to the arm band so that they wouldn't get wrapped up or tangled when in use. Also, the ones she had purchased had a double Velcro feature for the child's bracelet, so they weren't as likely to remove it themselves/it would be harder for an attacker to remove (one Velcro strip went around the wrist, and the other went in the opposite direction over that one). Lastly, the other ones seemed to have a longer extension than these. On the plus side these are extremely durable. I put the child bracelet on and my husband pulled as hard as he could to test the Velcro and see if it would hold, and it did...plus some! Also, like I mentioned, they were slightly cheaper, I believe I paid $12 for a set of one pink and one blue one. & Lastly, they work! That's all that really matters, right?! As much as I was hoping these would have the features I listed above, they are still a great deal for what you get, and I can't complain too much! I'd recommend these to someone looking for that extra level of protection for their children....I've always been against using a "leash" for children, but with things getting as bad as they have been, it's nice to have the option for my kids to be able to run freely, while still keeping them at a safe distance. I feel like these are much less restricting than the leashes or backpacks, and with me wearing one as well, it doesn't seem as dominating as the alternative options. Honestly though, if it saves your kids life, it's well worth the criticisms!

Amazing
Excellent product! I purchased this after my 3- year- old ran off in Target and I didn't notice until she was walking by hand in hand with a couple, towards the door.😱 This nifty little gadget keeps my girls close by my side and they actually enjoy wearing it

A life saver!
The very first time we tried these out it went a bit shaky, but the next few times both my daughter and I were happy with these. They are easy to put on and comfortable to wear. I can give my daughter the sense of Independence she likes when walking while being able to direct her and keep her from getting into anything or wondering too far away from me. It's very easy and convenient, especially for any parent who is out alone with their toddler!

Perfect for this mom on crutches who needs to keep my twins close.
Really great deal (2 for $10) and perfect for pairing with leash backpacks!(Thr leash backpacks I have used with these wrist leashes are made by Alphabetz and were only $9 each!!!) I am on crutches so holding onto the typical toddler leash just makes life harder for me so these wrist leashes were the perfect solution.- Would be good to use with a dog leash too. I am getting a service dog and plan to buy another of these to attach to it's leash so I don't have to hold it.

Jumbo coils, like blood pressure monitor with lots of Velcro
My kids are older than toddler but I got this for a large crowd event (it arrived late so I wasn’t able to use it). However, since I have it, here’s what I would’ve wanted to know. First, the chain is ok length to keep them at your side but they can’t be further than about two seat cushions away. Second the chain is huge in size. I thought it would be a telephone cord but it’s jumbo. So it’s not subtle - all will know your child is leashed. It’s a lot of Velcro so is not good for fine clothes or anything where you are afraid it will catch. The good news is that it’s secure and fits snugly and comfortably like a blood pressure monitor on your wrist. Additional note - the kids took them and were enjoying attaching themselves to each other and playing around the house, so it was definitely comfortable to the kids, too.Two poor design elements. The Velcro receiving side starts a little after some fabric. Unless your wrist is perfectly sized to pull it past that fabric, the Velcro will touch that connecting piece and it does catch/Velcro stick a little. One trial and I could already see the fabric fraying the tiniest bit. Over time... The second weird thing is that it looks like the world’s sturdiest steel bike lock chain encased in vinyl, but is attached by flimsy fabric. The chain will never break, but the connection might. So far, with very light use, stretching it hasn't stretched out the coils. In sum, it would’ve done the job I wanted, albeit more visibly than I would’ve liked and less long than I would’ve preferred (but can appreciate not creating a tripping hazard for others). If the Velcro ever caught on any of my clothes or jacket I would be annoyed, but it appears to work well.

Such a big help for a momma with a toddler & baby!
Used this for my daughter’s Disney trip and it was a complete success! Gave me so much security knowing that she can’t wander off! I have an 8month old and so many times it’s hard to keep my daughter (2.5 yr old) in the stroller or sitting while I tend her my son. This was so perfect for strolling him and letting her walk on her own while she’s in arms distance at all times! Biggest help! Love this and highly recommend! Side note: there were times she did want to take it off, but after having it on for 20min or walking around I’d say she did well and would get to run around in the play area and then would voluntarily put it back on☺️

This is a must have
I was able to let my 1.5 year old walk/run at the zoo while still maintaining full control of how far he went. Since he wants to be independent and not hold hands all the time, this helped a lot. I bought the 2 pack even though my other one is 4. People stop us everywhere to tell me how pretty and polite she is and this gives me some piece of mind. I'm so glad I bought these.

Best buy ever
These are amazing. two of my sons out of four of them are Autistic, so road safety and not being able to understand spoken language very well is a daily struggle when we are out and about i.e "stay on the path" "hold the buggy with mammy". So these have been a godsend as regular harnesses are restrictive for them whereas these give them the freedom to feel as if they are walking with me like their brother yet be safe not to wander off. I can have one on each of my wrists and still push my double buggy knowing they are all safe!

I became that parent...
I always said I would never put my child on a "leash" but when you have more than one child to watch, and one of those children constantly darts away from you even while you're trying to hold his hand, this is a life saver. Toddlers don't always want to be held, or in a stroller, so this is perfect. He has some freedom and I know that he is safe at all times. Plus he thinks its like a slingshot and slingshots himself at me all the time. Surprisingly enough my toddler loves it and thinks its hilarious. He cries when its time to take it off him. Super happy with this product.

Amazing for the Ocean
I actually bought these to use in the ocean at an all-inclusive vacation! My 5yo is a good swimmer but she’s only experienced in the pool and has no idea about the unpredictability of the ocean. So I connected her to me in the ocean and found peace of mind. Not that different than a surfer to a surfboard really.
