Good customer service, plain "OEM" like unit and poor instructions
To begin with, the instructions are really lacking. Luckily, the customer service rep is very quick to respond and will provide navi updates and extras here and there. It will work in a Chevy Tahoe with Bose. What the instructions don't tell you is that you have to use the bigger harness with the black aux box and then hookup every cannon plug that is attached to that harness. The confusing part is the multiple extra harness that come with it. Another confusing part is the many extra wires that are attached to the bose harness. They are simply extra and unused, but the instructions don't clearly say that so it will leave you trying to guess what to do with them. There are many extras that the harnesses can do, but most users will just need to hook up the main harness an the rear cam extra harness. Additionally, it has hookups for an IPOD, but it's the 30 pin connector. Beware of that! No iPhone....My other issue was trying to keep my bose sub but also add an external amp and sub. I went back and forth with the reps for two days. Sadly they really had no answer to help. They will continue to send the instructions as your only help. Those same instructions come in the box mind you. As for my external amp, I just hooked the truck up normally and closed up the dash. Then I just wired my amp and subs up as you would normally with a stock head unit that doesn't have RCA inputs. I used a LOC and tapped into the bose amp cannon plug under the center console to feed my external amp. That kept my Bose and new Astrium head unit as they should be and just added my external amp and sub.As for user interface, it's pretty plain. There isn't a lot of options for customizing. You don't have a lot of control on sound quality(EQ) and if you're listening to Bluetooth music and need to cycle to something else like audio to change settings, it cuts the music off leaving you to guess at what your sound adj helped/hurt. You can use the radio, but it lacks an HD signal and that's not good for tuning anyway. Lastly, I'm having to update my head unit again because the GPS Nav keeps resetting and losing my settings. All and all, for 700 dollars, I will just go back to the Pioneer AVIC series that has up to date IPOD/IPHONE, GPS, RCA preouts, and a much cleaner and clear install path.**Update: I believe I have gotten most of the issues resolved. The unit was freezing but the rapid response customer service gave me instructions on how to troubleshoot. Seems the GPS map card is bad. They already responded and are sending me an update map card. I will say that even if you have issues with this unit, the customer service will do whatever they can to help fix your problem.*** Update***I just removed the radio and replaced with a pioneer unit. Several issues started to arise with the product and I had honestly just grown tired of the less than average performance. My GPS would always want me to re initialize it every time I used it. The chimes stopped matching the blinkers or flashers and would start their own pattern that would drive you nuts. Bluetooth seemed to still work and the back up camera option was also working. All and all the Concept is great, but for the 750 bucks I paid, I’m the idiot in this story looks like....Don’t be an idiot

GEE-1102 for Chevrolet Trucks
I just received and installed this device yesterday and it went so smoothly for my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. No splicing wires, truly plug and play.I ordered from Aidos Electronics, and their support was phenomenal. I asked a couple of questions about the configuration process, and they responded within 30 minutes. When they say that customer service is everyone's job, they truly mean that. Going above and beyond on a Saturday.I also tested out the navigation system, and the radio, XM, Bluetooth and DVD player. All worked seamlessly with each other. There was no need to change your device on the Sirius account.

Astrium GEE-1102S
It was just plug and play, Hardnest thing here to do was installing GPS antenna and you need correct tools to pop open dash. Had it for 3 weeks now and works fine, I can finally make and receive calls without worrying about cops with my phone. Will save you from getting a ticket. Comes with lot's of extra cables and you get confused at first but don't worry just make sure you use one with 4 cable hardness if you have a bose system if not use other with just two. Is a nice unit but is not perfect there is features that you may not like but for the price is good enough. XM and AM/ FM radio is louder that original unit. The only reason for 4 stars here is not perfect there some features that you will not like.

Pretty slick
Just installed 2 days ago. Definitely adds a nice touch. Looks slick and sounds much better than stock radio. Really wakes up the bose speakers. I've seen a couple reviews about this head unit having poor am/fm reception but mine works just as well as the stock head unit. Had an issue with it not functioning 100%, sent an email to koodoonline and had a reply within 2 hours on a weekend and turned out that I had the wrong wiring harness hooked up. Hooked up the right one and now everything works great. 100% satisfied with product and customer service. As long as this unit keeps working over time I would have to say this is a great buy.

Five Stars
I have enjoyed this radio, for 1.5 yrs. It now needs service and I cannot get a response from the email provided for service. I would be very wary of this radio. It was easily installed and worked well.

aesthetic good
I give the product 5 from 1 to 10. Bluetooth is disconnected and sometimes it does not connect, it is very expensive and I think you can get a better product for less money

Stopped working days after it was installed. The sound ...
Stopped working days after it was installed. The sound on radio would go bass then treble back and forth. Somehow the radio lights would stay on sometime after I turned the truck off.

It's not what they claim it to be. Doesn't ...
It's not what they claim it to be. Doesn't stay on the Sat station, will not reset to Sat station, cannot set Nav unless you are still, OnStar phone doesn't work, blue tooth needs help. Many small but significant issues.
