Adds hassle free Bluetooth handsfree phone functionality to your car
It does exactly what it says on the tin. Exactly what my car needed.I bought this Bluetooth Handsfree kit as my car (Peugeot Tepee) is pretty basic and does not have one.I linked this little doofer to my Android phone's Bluetooth and tuned the car radio into the FM station it broadcasts, and it works fine.If someone calls, you just press the phone symbol on the top and its answers the phone, the microphone is in the little unit and sound comes out your car stereo. You can even get the phone's handsfree assistiant to start the call for you. It turns your car stereo into a bluetooth speaker for you phone as well so you can use a sat nav on it (another thing my car don't have) or listen to tunes on the phone.I would recommend leaving the unit stuck on the dash near to the steering wheel and left plugged into the cigarette lighter/charger as then it switches it self of when the power goes off from the charger, leave no faffing about when you stop and start the car after a one time setup.Recommended.

No more static noise! Hurray!
I have spent years searching for the perfect Bluetooth FM transmitter, and I can confidently say I've finally found it! After countless attempts with transmitters that plugged directly into the cigarette lighter socket, I was constantly plagued by irritating static noise. The quality of the music was always compromised, and I almost gave up on finding a solution. Then, I came across an article that mentioned the real culprit behind the static noise: the proximity of the transmitter to the power source. The recommendation was to try a transmitter on a cable instead of plugging it directly into the socket. I decided to give it a shot, and wow, what a difference it has made! This transmitter has exceeded all my expectations. The sound quality is superb—clear, crisp, and without any hint of static. It’s a game-changer! The setup is incredibly easy, and it’s very user-friendly. Plus, the fact that it’s on a cable means I can position it away from the power source, eliminating the issue of interference entirely. If you're tired of battling static noise and subpar sound quality, I can't recommend this transmitter enough. It’s compact, easy to use, and most importantly, it delivers flawless sound quality. No more static, just pure enjoyment of your music!

Great little device in my old car.
I have been using a 12v adaptor with FM radio function to listen to my music from my phone in my old land rover. I saw this and read some reviews which left me a little scepticle however...This device is amazing, it charges fast and connects to my phone even faster. The sound quality that it emits is absolutley great and I have yet to receive any white noise or interference. The supplied cable could be a little longer and I wish that it was USB C on the device but overall the cable is good. The device itself came with sticky back Velcro pads and as such stuck nicely to my A pillar meaning the hands free was closer to my mouth and when asking my partner she says it is crystal clear on the other end of the phone all be it with a little background noise.Overall I would absolutley recommend this item if you're wanting to turn you're old car stereo into a hands free or listen to music from your phone then this little device will have your car rocking. Awesome device.

Works really well.
Does the job perfectly, small and very easy to set up and use. Perfect for my old car that doesn’t have a cigarette lighter to power a traditional car FM transmitter. A single charge lasts ages. Would recommend.

Sadly, very disappointing.
I got this as the only other BT transmitters I could find need to plug in to the cigarette lighter connector which, in my car, is not practical. This Avantree offered improved space management, minimalist design and, in my case, safety (the cigarette lighter in my car is way back behind the handbrake so accessing it means I have to stop, move my seat back then fiddle with it 😂).I can't fault any of that. *That said, if something seems to good to be true then it is! Everything about this product, besides its sleek design, is, quite honestly, a disaster. The connectivity is limited - finding a clear channel is hard enough where I live (right in between 5 major cities) so the fact that this product only allows one radio "decimal point (?)", unlike others which offer 2, means that the range is severely limited. On top of that, even using clear channels, the connection is poor and low quality. At £30 this is double the cost of plug-in transmitters and not worth it. You'd be better saving up a few more pennies and just buying a new stereo! Also, worthy of mentioning, is that out of the box, it comes with a guarantee QR code sticker over the top of the interface - this would be fine but for the fact that the sticker is ultra-cheap and impossible to peel off without making a mess of the interface. My advice - if you can't afford a new stereo altogether, but have a cigarette lighter in a sensible part of your car, go with a far-cheaper plug-in model.Note: I tried using various different channels, placing the product in different parts of the car, all to varying, but still hopeless, degrees of success. I even tested it side-by-side with the plug-in model I'm using and the difference in quality was astounding.Amazon tags: ease of use*

21st century
Brought the car into the modern age! Works like a treat. Connects automatically as well when the car is turned on if you keep plugged into usb power.Just ensure that the volume is fully up on phone and volume down on the radio before connecting or your neighbours will be looking out wondering at who played 10 seconds of alternative rock at full volume followed by MY EARS! My poor ears!

Used to broadcast to radios around my home
Bought originally for my car where it worked fine. These days I use it at home to broadcast from my phone to my collection of old resurrected FM radios accumulated over the decades by my family and now scattered around the house, garage and garden.
