Jazz At The Pawnshop, Vol. 2

Good recording of a jazz classic.

First of all this SACD is not an outtake. These two cds were recorded in 1976 at a nightclub called the Pawnshop in Stockholm Sweden. Disc one is the first night and disc two is the second night. These recordings are considered by audiophiles around the world as the greatest jazz recordings of the twentieth century. Whatever system you own will take your system to its full potential. I’ve been an audiophile for fifty years and I have never heard anything better than these things SACDS. Your system will come alive like never before. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Heard this 30 something years ago at a friends house party. Kept a cassette copy he made, time passed by and both the copy and the cassette player died. While streaming music I remembered the CD and decided to get all 3 volumes. So, stop reading this and just get your copy, LOL!

Great music. Great recording.

If you own the original one, Jazz at the Pawnshop, this is a nice addition. However if you only going to own one, I would suggest the Vol 1. This CD was the remaining tracks from the original concert that was never release. The sound is clean and it makes you believe that you are in the basement of a smokey bar, listening to it live.
