My mother and I are doing long distance this summer due to everything going on right now. I got the bear for me and the penguin as a gift for her. Honestly... IT’S PERFECT. I’ve only used it in the microwave for warmth and it helps so much with my anxiety. The bag might smell super strong when you first warm it, but once it’s in the stuffed animal itself the smell evens out. I have no issues so far. Oh and NO BED BUGS! Came perfectly clean. Highly recommend!

The velcro ripped immediately upon trying to take out the microwavable heating pack (which was very hard to get out of the small pouch in back of the penguin. The stuffed toy is adorable but the entire process of removing the microwavable pouch with the velcro ripping already, made this an unsafe toy to give to a child. The velcro used is also very heavy & sharp. It could cut a child. You cannot put the entire toy in the microwave, but extracting the ripping sharp velcro was too much. The lavender smell was nice & toy was cute; but not able to be used as described (as a warming toy)

My little one had a previous plush(different brand) that we kept in the freezer and used then she had boo-boos. The old one got dirty and I tried to clean it but that ended up ruining it since the internal pack wasn't removable. This one is removable and softer. My little one loves her new freezer plush and wants to cuddle even when she doesn't have boo-boos!

I bought the used like new option. It was exactly what I wanted but smelled like someone had over heated it and burnt the beads, I replaced it with my own pouch, since it's to be used to stash an inhaler on the bed without getting lost

I took a risk on this as it had no reviews! I was looking for a microwavable plush that you can remove the insert. I didn't like that you can't really wash something that my kid was going to be snuggling every night. I haven't microwaved it yet as this is a gift, but it looks just like the picture. The pouch is a little tight getting in and out, but the seam where you open it seals nicely. This seems well made. Will change my review later if it doesn't work well.

All over its great i wish i didnt have to take the pouch out but the only downfall is after a month the velcrow stops working in the back i now have to put a new one in

BEDBUGS!!! This came loaded with bedbugs!! When I opened it, I noticed some eggs on the back of the head. When I opened the velcro to see the pouch inside, there were bedbugs crawling all over it!

I had already purchased one of these a couple of years ago and my grandson loves it. He heated it up and slept with it every night. This is a replacement purchase. Higher at $33 than the original one where I paid $20 , but he is due for a new one so I paid the extra money.
