Barrister and Mann Terror Aftershave (Seasonal) (Deltus Base)

Just a really cool product.Hopefully it sticks around and the shave soap returns.

This is a great aftershave--it smells great and it feels great. The reason I can't give it five stars is its longevity once it soaks into your hands.Because of how long the aftershave lasts on your hands, you will likely get some of it in your eyes after an inadvertent touch during the day. There is a warning label on the bottle regarding this, but I think other people (like me) will underestimate how long this stuff lasts. In my experience, washing my hands hasn't seemed to help very much in reducing the effects. Hours later I'll accidentally touch my eyes and revisit the "Terror". YMMV.It's not a deal breaker for me, but it might be for others. It's definitely something to take seriously either way. B&M put out plenty of other awesome products if the "Terror" isn't for you.

I tried the original terror it sucks If you get it in your eyes it will burn all day long. Even after it's settled if you get it in your eyes by accident it will burn. The only reason I will give it two stars is the scent because it matches well with my Terre "D" Hermes cologne.

This is a new, season product from Barrister and Mann. I purchased this late in the season along with the same scented soap.The combination of these two is amazing. It is synthetic menthol and it does indeed feel different. It did not have the blast of cold and numbing that normal menthol soaps and aftershaves have. However, it is very refreshing and the effects last MUCH longer than natural menthol.The scent is not overpower, and while I am not sure how to describe it, I would say it is mild and pleasant. It is alcohol based and does provide feedback to any nicks and scratches, but it is not overpowering.Overall I love this aftershave and with the matching soap is just phenomenal.

If you have infants or toddlers, don’t buy this. It’s too cold, and it will stay on your hands and face for 8 hours or more. You will eventually get it into their eyes or somewhere else. It smells good, but it’s just too cold and hopeless for me. Nothing will clean it off you will be helpless. If you live somewhere hot, and you don’t have young children, it will be great.
