Make sure you use a zip tie to secure the zipper, otherwise the bag might open. I made it 545 miles on a 560 mile roadtrip when the zippers blew open. Almost made it home! Otherwise, this is a great cargo bag, held up at speeds up to 90 MPH (lead foot!), and was easy to install without a car rack on my Dodge Caliber. The belts secured through my car interior. Super roomy! I had plenty of space left.

QWorked well but was not completely waterproof

It was nice to use the first two times then you realize the inside of the bags starts to shred to pieces and it no longer works. I used it twice for a 10 hr drive from Washington state to Montana and it held up for the trip there and the trip home but really couldn't use it after that. During those two trips though it was a nice addition to my Subaru Impreza sport hatchback, my car was full with my wife, 3 kids, and 2 dogs so the additional space on top definitely came in hand, especially it rained part of the trip and my stuff in the back didn't get wet! Overall it was good just not as durable as I thought it could be

Once I figured out the best way to fasten it to the car, it was fantastic. The directions left a little to be desired, but I searched on line for the proper way to secure the bag to the car and found a video for an example. Using the bag was easy and it held enough luggage to make the four teenage boys I had in the car, traveling to Florida from Michigan, comfortable.

Used it one time and zipper would not stay closed, straps started to come apart from the bag, and the inside of the bag started to rip so the inside got wet. Do not recommend it.

I don't recommend it. The package was received with no instructions. Just used it to go on a long trip to GA and the zipper opened while we were driving. We lost more that 1/2 of our clothes. We didn't realized it until 3 hrs later when we stopped for gas ( like 3am) and 1/2 of everything I packed for 5 people was gone... I spend so much money buying everything again...Because of the wind pressure the inside started to tear up...we had to buy new luggage in GA since we couldn't use it again.

We packed it on the roof before securing it. A piece of cake doing it that way. It held twice as much as I thought it would. Two sleeping bags. Two bundles of towels. Two plastic bin containers. Three folding chairs. A pillow. And little odds and ends. Highly recommend this.

We went on a trip that was over 2000 miles. We didn't have any issues at all. It also held plenty for our family of 4!
