Did the job and easy to install after watching a quick YouTube video
Found my aux connection in my car wasn't working and did some trouble shooting to find out that sometimes it's just this simple piece you pop out and quickly replace to be up and working again. I do recommend making sure you have the proper tool needed to remove the old one as it does not come with it. I got a small 4 piece set of plastic car tools which helps make sure you don't scratch the dash.

The original port became loose over time. It's just like new now.
It was very simple. The item arrived quickly and was installed with a screwdriver and pliers. In a couple minutes, it was like new again. Low cost, easy to do.

Works for Honda Civic
This worked for a 2008 Honda Civic. The latch opens up to the top vs the original part on car opens to the bottom. So I did not use that piece from the new part. But the AUX board component works like the original so far. It's only been installed for a few days but so far so good.

My AUX works now!!
Bought a 2008 Honda Civic with factory radio. The AUX plug in didn't work. After some Googling, I found this easy switch. I pulled out the old one and got this put in in less than 10 minutes. I used a YouTube video for instructions because it doesn't come with any.

Works fine but pins needed manual adjustment during install
The replacement aux jack works. Compared to the original on my civic, the cap folds up vs down (not a big deal). Noticed the original has a rubber gasket/o ring under the flip cap. I reused the original o ring. Also when plugging in the cord, the pins were misaligned. It wouldn’t plug in without using a screwdriver to adjust the 5 pins towards the center of the unit. Easy fix but be careful not to break the pins.
