BanKhok Kirie - Pair of White Metal Bookends with Flower Cutout Pattern, Modern Home Decor

I'd been looking for something to hold up my cookbooks but was disappointed by bookends that were mostly decorative and only marginally functional (beanbag "bookends"? Really?). These are heavy and sturdy, the color and etching are both extremely sharp (no unpainted areas, burrs, etc), and they come with felt anti-scratch pads on the bottom.I've got three sets of these holding up three sections of heavy/oversized cookbooks and they haven't let me down yet. These DO come in a 10" height as well but even my largest cookbooks are held fast with this size.All in all, a great all-around bookend that's attractive without being superfluous and that does exactly what it claims to as well as it possibly can.

I chose this rating, because the seller doesn't deserve anything less. I mean, what can you expect from a transaction, a gold ticket to see Willy Wonka's Factory? What did I like or dislike? Well, it arrived on time. I like that. They are heavy bookends. I like that. They are definitely prettier than others that have no artistic value. I like that too. My only suggestion, is that they were available in black too, because they would have blended with my decor better. Who would I recommend this product to? I would recommend this product to anyone I knew that wanted a nice pair of bookends.

Being a teacher and curriculum writer, I have a lot of books and some of them are extremely heavy. I bought these bookends to hold up textbooks that normal bookends have been unable to handle. These are excellent quality! So happy, that I came back and bought more sets! The taller version is great for the heaviest textbooks, but this shorter version performed just as well. My library is finally under control with no books falling over!

I really like these bookends! I have a desk where I needed bookends to hold up some big bulky books (read heavy - I have lots of academic textbooks) and I wanted something pretty but not too fur-fru or take up a lot of room. These bookends totally do the trick! These can handle heavy books easily and look really nice, too! I am very happy with my purchase!

These are very pretty. A little light, but I think they will still hold paperbacks with no problem. I wouldn't put a bunch of heavy books against them though.

Really like the design and plan to paint them a bright yellow to match my kitchen. Using these to display my cookbooks. Like this size though I did see them in a larger size also.

I was worried these might be too flimsy to hold up my larger books or a long row of books since they are shorter and super thin... but they work great! They look nice and I like how they are strong but thin so they don't take up hardly any space so you can maximize book storage. Great buy!

I was looking for bookends that were feminine enough for my baby girl's nursery but also heavy enough to be functional when used as actual bookends. This pair of bookends is heavy enough to hold my daughter's books up very well. They look very nice and are of high quality.
