I purchased this adaptor to charge the Wahl lithium ion wireless trimmers. The adaptor works for the model and charges the trimmers without issue. PLUS: The makers of this charging adaptor made the cord thicker than the adaptor that came from Wahl. This charger will last longer than the original. Note: the male plug that is inserted into the clippers is slightly longer. More than likely due to the universal nature of the product, but IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM.

I use this charger to recharge my Wahl clipper. I could not get a replacement from Wahl, so I found this one on Amazon. It charges my clipper like the original, and the cord seems to be a higher quality than the original. It is thicker and looks more durable.

I lost my wall wart for my small rechargeable LED work light which requires a 4.2V 350ma charger. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015E6M23C/ When it arrived I didn't even check the barrel end wouldn't be the same. Because it's for a trimmer of course this one comes with a tiny barrel connector where mine requires a standard 2.1x5.5mm version. I already have some barrel adapters like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0185K52D6/. Snipped off the existing tiny barrel, stripped the wires, and used the 2.1mm adapter to turn it into the one I needed. From the time the charger arrived to the time I modified it to work took about 5 minutes. Even though my work light only requires a 350ma charger, and this charger does 1A, my work light will only draw 350ma while charging due to the recharging circuit built into my work light. However, because this charger is 1A, it can be used for other projects in the future that I built which might need a higher milliamp draw. Sometimes it's smarter to get a charger with a higher milliamp capability than you need, if you dabble in electronics. The charger cord is constructed with about 20-22 gauge braided copper wire which is plenty thick for a 4.2v and 1A max charger. The charger does not get very warm to the touch which means it's adequately able to handle recharging my device without any problems. I like the built-in light. It turns a dim red while charging and hopefully blue when fully charged. While not plugged into anything it will show as blue. It's not one of those obnoxiously bright status LED's that will blind you, it's a very pleasant dim light. I'm happy to report it is charging my little work light but I have no idea yet if the LED on the wall wart will change from red to blue to indicate it's fully charged because I'm not using it for its intended purpose. Even though I purchased a charger with the wrong terminal for my needs I was able to modify it and I'm very happy with its performance and status LED brightness (which is the perfect brightness in my opinion).

Great replacement, wish it had a 90 degree plug into the trimmers. Cheap enough to buy every couple of years. Always break at wire to plug connection at trimmers.
