The current generation of USB cooling fans is so much lighter, sleeker and more powerful than the last. I hate having my MacBook Pro's fan come on, and this fan (and another similar one at my office, nearly identical but different branding) keeps my Mac cool even on the hottest days (they even have enough downward thrust to keep my legs cool underneath my computer desk!). Plus, they have a pass through USB connection, so you don't lose a USB port when you plug this into your Mac. They also light up when running, which not only looks cool -- an eerie blue glow, as if the fans are powered by a nuclear reactor -- but is helpful to avoid leaving them on, since they are also far quieter than older fans, nearly silent.

Fans are way quieter than I expected, looks very cool (pun intended). Especially if you have a glass desk! Keeps my laptop cool and at a nice angle for typing and viewing. It doesn't slide, and the little feet where my wrists are are not in the way at all. The fan locations are perfect for my 17" HP laptop. I like that I can turn the fans and the lights up and down with the little dials on the back, and that I don't lose a USB port by plugging it in.

I have an MSI gaming laptop that I use for video production. While rendering videos, even with the cool boost technology and good air flow from my computer temp was running about 95 degrees C (203 F). I bought this cooling pad to hopefully bring that temperature down and prolong the life of my computer. While rendering videos this morning, using the Vanble cooling pad, my computer stayed around 88 degrees C (188.6 F). That is a 7 degree difference in Celcius (14.4 F)! That is huge for me! Further, it helps my computer cool down much faster after rendering video to get it back down into normal operating ranges. I also keep the pad running while I'm just doing regular computer work and it keeps my computer temp lower throughout the day. I can't even hear it running which is super nice! All of this equates to my computer lasting longer and running better! I'm very happy and would highly recommend this cooling pad to anyone!

This fan looks cool and actually works really well. It's quiet but pushes a lot of air around. It's nice because it cools my laptop off enough that it can turn its own fan off, thus saving the life of the hardware a little. My only complaint is that you have to be very careful picking it up when it's running. The metal grille on both sides is not supported well, which means the slightest pressure will make it brush against the internal fan, making noise and I'm sure screwing up the motor over time.

I had to search Amazon for a long time to find a laptop cooling pad/stand that could fit my 17.3 laptop and also allowed me to turn off the irritating LED lights without turning off or turning down the fans. This Vanble 5 Fans Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad fulfilled my requirements. The laptop is still a little bigger than the pad, but the pad is big enough that the laptop feels stable. There is maybe a half an inch or so on each side of the laptop that goes beyond the pad and about another inch on the back because I lift the "stops" at the front of the pad to make sure the laptop won't slide off of it and this makes the laptop sit about an inch back from the front edge of the pad.I haven't played any game while using this cooling pad, but for regular use, it keeps the laptop cool.

It works and looks attractive but I was hoping for more powerful fans. Maybe I expect too much.

1. It's first day!! - so wish could have say many good things as am going now about it in a year... but..... I had to return 5 fans different manufacturer one due to quite steep angle... This guy pumps air better then one that used to have 5 fans yet those were small on diameter... 2 Things I gained instantly from huge blades' radius: a) gr8 air flow, b) extremely quite operation!! I love it!!! Product seems to perform well, has gr8 2 setup angles, not to steep! :). I know it's a very preliminary review but I'M IMPRESSED!! You practically can't hear it!! :) (very nice you can ;). p.s. very cool blue LED, with nice bar pattern :), cool adds up.Assuming it'll not fall apart to soon I can confidently recommend this product!

Very impressed with this. It keeps my laptop noticeably cooler (even feels cooler to touch) and is virtually silent. I can play Football Manager for longer than a couple of hours now without my laptop shutting down on me.There's a slight overhang on either side, probably about a half inch each way, on my 17" Dell, but it's not enough for me to be concerned about the laptop slipping off/stability.
