Why have the flower died within 2weeks

Sorry but I can’t answer your question because my plant also died. At least I thought and then I looked a bit closer, took it out of the soil and saw a tiny little bit of green , what I hope will grow. I cut about 5 cm and put it in soil. Now let’s wait and see. :-))
