Great color and flavor! I just did a comparison to the other avocado oil in my cupboard. Lucius is clearly superior!In addition, this is a good company with great customer service. I ordered this not reading the whole description, looking at all the photos or reading reviews. I saw organic, the main photo and the price. I assumed it was a big can.I take responsibility for not reading the oz/ml on the description, this was my mistake. I hope this review is helpful to others, so they know that it is only 8.5oz. It is a super cute can, but not what I had expected. The company was responsive to my concern.I'm giving 4/5 because I think it is pricy for the amount. Everything else, as I stated, is great!

I consume two spoonfuls daily with my lunch. Avocados are excellent in helping to lower LDL cholesterol levels, this oil is a perfect alternative to eating avos. too often. Lucius, after looking at several options, is the only product that met more than all of my requirements; Made in the USA using California avocados, unrefined, certified organic, no GMO, chemicals or preservatives, steel packaging, and it does not need to be refrigerated. It also, importantly, has a very pleasing mild tasting flavor. along with a "fresh" non bitter scent. We will now also use this great oil in our salads. A really excellent food product."BTW I have also read the 1 star reviews that complain about the size of the can - the size of the cans are noted in THE VERY FIRST SENTENCE of this listing - Pay attention shoppers - these 1 star reviews dealing only with the size of the container are NOT because of issues with this fine - not inexpensive oil.

I've been using this avocado oil to make organic bath teas, I mix it in with the herbs, flower petals, essential oils, bath salts etc., to nourish the skin. This is the first time I've used avocado oil this way and I totally love it. The earthy scent and beautiful green color are especially pleasing. I also like to use it to moisturize and condition my hair, it really improves the silkiness. I also massage the a few drops into my face and neck, makes my skin soft and no more tight dry skin, even now when the weather is cold. Good stuff!! I haven't yet used it for cooking, but am looking forward to it!

I add 1 TBS of avocado oil to my veggie dinners each night. I was so glad to find an organic avocado oil because I am trying to delay the recurrence of cancer by using as many organic products as I can. Organic avo oils are not available in the stores in my area, even Whole Foods. The Lucius avo oil has a good flavor, however, I will only order for special occasions due to the cost. I am not opposed to the cost-I believe in producers being able to make a profit and I do not object to high quality foods costing more-but since I am retired, it is a bit above what I can routinely afford. I would have rated my satisfaction above as 5 stars had the cost been lower."

This oil from packaging to taste is a real piece of art. Although tiny, its deliciousness compensates for the size:)It arrived in the lovely box with a special note inside. As expected, it is a joy for the taste buds to eat, as if you are squeezing avocados into your salads, with the lovely green colour and texture. I would feel bad to use such an oil for cooking which is why I only use it on my salads and it really adds a nice flavor to all the greens and vegetables.Hope the quality remains the same, I will definitely gladly purchase more of it.

Worth every penny... the boxed bag systems keeps air from getting so preventing oxidation and the box also keeps the oil in the dark - so prevents break down from light. I drink 2oz every morning and use to cook with. I have been very happy with its flavor and texture.

This is delicious and amazing oil. However, pay attention to the qty you’re buying. I was expecting a larger size based on the photos, but this is a teeny tiny little container. Very yummy though, I fully recommend it!

unlike any other avocado oil I have ever purchases. this is very think and very strong tasting. i use it for salad dressing and as hair oil before washing.
