Heinz Homestyle, Mushroom Gravy, 12 oz

HEINZ GRAVIES are the closest in texture and flavor to that of our family's homemade. The only thing is... they tend to be on the thicker side and a bit bland. Now don't get me wrong - this is a GOOD thing. My delicious and flavorful homemade gravies generally lean toward the thinner (and sometimes saltier) side, thus requiring some amount of "SZHOOZING" to achieve the perfect flavor balance and texture to compliment our meals. Store brand gravies I've tried have been "YUK". Fortunately there's HEINZ! All it takes is the addition of a 12 oz jar or two of HEINZ (beef, turkey, chicken, or mushroom) to totally bring the meal HOME. (Now you know my secret... HALF HOMEMADE)

Great addition to my holiday meal. It’s nice to have it ready to heat. You can add some broth to it if you like. Season to taste.

Good, a little too salty, so dilute it a bit.

Perfect for the turkey on thanksgiving

I don't know...it's just kinda bland to me. I suppose this stuff is good in a pinch for a Thanksgiving meal, but I personally only tried a couple spoonfuls of it on my meal and decided it was NOT it. Flavor leaves a lot to be desired. It's a cheap and convenient alternative to making your own gravy from scratch but it's not something that's ever going to be considered a holiday staple in this household. The texture is smooth and the thickness was so-so. Not quite so runny, but not as thick as I would have liked. The bottle size is fine for a small family, but you'd definitely need a lot more for larger gatherings. On the bright side, it's relatively low in sodium (which could be why it tasted bland to me) with only 240mg in 1/4 cup of gravy. Pretty low in calories with 25 per serving, if you're keeping track of that kind of stuff (probably not during a holiday!) All in all though...I'd only recommend this gravy if you need it in a pinch, have no time to make your own gravy from scratch, or you're just trying to put together a quick meal with little to no prep. If you want GOOD gravy, look elsewhere.

La usamos para papás puttine y me gustó

Tiene un sabor rico, lo acompañe con el pavo y a mi familia les encanto. Llegaron dos frascos yo diria que chicos pero suficiente.

La usamos principalmente para el puré de papa, está rico y de buena consistencia pero le falta sal. Yo le puse un poco de condimento de caldo de pollo y quedó rico. Nada que no se pueda arreglar

Llegaron a tiempo, super bien empaquetados, buen producto, sin embargo el sabor no es tan bueno, algo artificial, le doy un 6 de 10.
