8" X 8" Steel Return Air Grilles - Sidewall and Ceiling - HVAC Duct Cover - Black [Outer Dimensions: 9.75" w X 9.75" h]

Purchased this Return Air Grille as a replacement for my bathroom ceiling HVAC vent cover. My old vent cover had unfortunately started to show rust after 10 years, not unexpected in the bathroom. The vent was very easy to install and looks great now. Nothing fancy about the grille cover, no working parts so time will tell as to how it holds up to the moisture in the air as far as rust issues. The grille came well packaged from the seller with all hardware included and I did receive the package earlier than expected. Would definitely purchase again.

Needed a replacement return cover. This fit perfectly. Also, better airflow due to the larger venting. Would recommend to anyone needing a replacement return cover. Comes with it's own screws. Perfect

Packaging was great had all the Hardware for install jot cheap steel very strong no flimsy...

Needs a 6 foot register cover for under our kitchen island. Ordered 2- 3 foot pieces as a 6 foot was not available. Arrived well packaged and exactly what needed except they are only available in white. Painted them to match the wood. Easy to install. Looks great.

Initially was concerned this would be flimsy, but I would consider it the same sturdiness and weight of my original vent I was replacing. This version has more holes for screwing to your surface, but it comes shrinkwrapped with cardboard and all the screws. Highly recommend if this is your vent size needed.

Could not find one of these that fit in the hardware or home improvement store. This one fit, arrived quickly, looks great, and was easy to install. Win!

Although the grille appears to be of relatively good quality metal, it arrived not completely flat, so there are gaps between the sides and the top of the ceiling that are annoying. The product should be shipped with sturdier packaging. Also, be aware the size might fit your opening, as ours did, but the screw holes in the new grille, did not match the screw hole placement in the previous grille. Seems like that would be easy to accommodate, but it wasn't. Some of the new screw holes had to be abandoned, so we have open, empty screw holes. At some point we'll need to find matching screws, saw off the threads, paint them, and glue them in place. Hassle. Luckily our grille isn't in a prominent place.

This arrived very quickly. Only complaint was the size of the packaging. The grill which is 3/8" thick came in a box that was the size of a small refrigerator.

Upon replacing my old grille and installing this one, we noticed a humming when the first fan was running. Seems to be related to airflow through the grille. Not a deal breaker but it takes a while to get used to.

The displayed picture shows 2 mounting holes at 16" on the edges of the grille. The product had 4 holes (2 top and 2 bottom) at 14". I drilled new mounting holes at 16" to reach the wall studs.

The size was perfect but I paid way too much being a small town I was stuck paying. One size smaller in our town was 1/3 rd the price of this, indicating I was robbed. Live and learn, sometimes you win and sometimes you get screwed. The grille came with no damage as some write about they do. The venting part is 24x24" and plus the border makes it 25 3/4x25 3/4" was exactly what I needed.
