Not bad, just not what I expected
I have a pair of Oliver Sweeney short boots and they are soft, supple leather. They fit my feet like a glove. They are sleek in appearance. This shoe was very stiff and hurt my foot on the top of the toes when it creased. It was a bit chunky in appearance. If you know the shoe and like the style, then go for it. The construction seemed first rate. I am probably overly harsh on the rating, but I really expected to love these based on my prior experience and they fell short. I thought that they were a little large fitting.

Excellent shoes
As with any leather soled shoes, it is difficult to wear them all day, but given that, they are superbly crafted, and at a sales price, are excellent value!

Nice Shoe/Bad Sizing
I liked the construction and feel of the shoe. Very nice quality. However, the sizing is about a full size too large (both length and width). I wear an 11.5D, and it felt more like a 12.5 2E. Unfortunately, I will be returning them and they are sold out of what I believe would be the appropriate smaller size.

runs larger than most Sweeney
My fifth pair of Oliver Sweeney. All fit consistently true to size except this style which I had to return since it was about 1/2 size larger than my usual 9.5 US. Alas, Amazon is sold out of size 9 US.
