Works great 👍
It's actually the best patch I've ever used. Durable and long lasting and actually works really really well

No Leaks
Unfortunately, I had a branch hit the soft top of my jeep. Luckily, it hit in about the perfect spot so that all that happened was a small tear in the fabric. I purchased the kit and followed the instructions. I was able to sew up the top, seal it, and put the tape down, just fine. I haven't had a single drop of water leak through so far. The only negative I would say is that the tape does wrinkle up a bunch when it's wet. It won't ever blend well with the top. However, who cares, it's not leaking.

Holds Up Great ...for a while
Since we tend to not have to do this often, you don't really get the hang of it right away. My first patch wasn't that pretty but the other 2 were better. Patches held up great for about a year. Once this summer started (Texas is hot) the outside patches all started curling up. Inside was fine (after sewing I put a patch on both sides.) Selling the car in a week or so. I guess I will just get this kit again and redo the patches that are coming off and keep it out of the sun. I think it's still a good product since $20 a year saves you the expense of a new top and it's not that hard to do.

Long lasting repair
I bought this in May 2023 to repair a 6-inch rip in a really bad spot on my Wrangler. It's October 2024 and the repair is still holding. Directions are also clear and available online if you lose the set that came with it.

Strong sealant but sloppy application
I used for a seam coning lose in my vinyl top, but a word of caution. This sealant can show from the topside on a tough seam repair if you over use it or don't find something to keep form while it cures. It will shrink a tad, but the bond is strong and water proof. Not so easy to apply as it is sticky and the applicator brush is no good after first use unless you immediately clean it with acetone or mineral spirits if you plan on using it again. Tube can dry fast too. Overall a good option for small leak repairs, not so much for larger tears under tension.

Works Great
Perfect solution to fix a knife cut in my twill soft top. No regrets. Would have cost me a new $1500 soft top otherwise.

Recommendation
I noticed a small hole, about a half inch long on the driver's side. From outside it looked like a cut but from the inside I saw that it was a spot worn through from the inside out. I used the needle and thread to put about five stitches in after I let the top down so the cut could close up. Then I put the top back up, latched it and put a coat of adhesion glue on the inside of the top and then a two inch piece of the vinyl patch supplied. I did not put any glue or tape on the outside. I also spotted a worn area on the same corresponding place on the passenger side and used the glue and a patch to protect that area. My top is about 18 years old and car is garage kept. So far so good after a month.

Fails the most basic requirement
Kit is easy and has everything you need, but despite multiple alcohol wipes, the patch tape doesn't stick on my Honda S2000 top. I haven't put anything on my top in years so it's not because of any Armor All or anything like that. The patch tape also doesn't stick on the inside of the top. So it was all a total waste. I'll look elsewhere for a good patch kit.

Great kit, quick, easy and simple to use! After patching I purchased a small piece of the same soft top canvas and stitched a piece over the patch job to reinforce and protect!

Bought me a year to prepare and save for top replacement. I'm not much of a sewer, but got the job done.
