CE4001/CE4001-A 40-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED TV

Shipping was super-fast. I ordered it on a Saturday and it arrived in my rural town on Monday. Packaging was perfectly fine. There were sturdy foam bumpers protecting the television, and it appeared to be quite safe and secure. Assembly was super easy, with everything you need included right down to a screwdriver. There are no cables included other than the power cord. The remote is a little large and complex, but I am a fan of simple remotes. There are several inputs, including RCA (for a Wii), HDMIx3, VGA, and component.The television is not nearly as heavy as I expected, especially compared to the old tube television that it replaced. The picture is absolutely fine. I've seen plenty of TVs in the stores, and I can't see how the picture on this set is any worse. For the price, you really cannot beat this product. I pity the people that pay hundreds of dollars more for a same size television.I only have one complaint: the lack of audio outputs. There is no optical or HDMI out. The best you are going to do is the orange s/pdif (coax) cable. I had to return a sound bar because it did not even accept a coax input. So be aware if you are purchasing components.As for the Roku ready, I got a much better deal on a box compared to the usb stick - so this feature really wasn't worth it to me. I suppose the one benefit of the usb stick is that you do not need a power outlet for it.

I just ordered this because of the obscenely low price ($278) compared to other TV's in this class. Like others I was very skeptical considering it was so cheap and from a brand I or anyone else had ever heard of. I considered if I didn't like it I can just return it, the price makes that risk worth it. The actual quality of TV blew me away. Before configuration the picture looks comparable to $800 screens of different brands. Blacks are black and colors are vivid. The system menu is very easy to use and attractive. The build quality is a little cheap but you get what you paid for. I've not noticed any dead pixels. Like other reviews have said the speakers are pretty crummy. I'd recommend getting a sound bar or a receiver to pipe audio out of instead. The reason it gets 3 stars instead of 5 is because it didn't come with a remote, joint to fasten the stand to the monitor, or any of the manuals or warranty information. The only things in the box were the monitor, stand, and power cable. I'm assuming this is an error on packaging's part and have written to customer support. Depending on how they get back to me may consider how I change my rating for better or worse. Till then I've got it built up on some books and controlling it with a universal remote after finding the manual on their website. I highly recommend this TV for someone looking for a basic LED HDTV without the smart tv bells and whistles and price. If future buyers also find parts missing out of the box you may want to steer clear unless you plan to wall mount it and use a different remote in which case you probably don't care.TL;DR: It's a great TV worth more than what they're asking. Audio is nothing to get excited for so you may want a soundbar. I had an issue with not enough parts included but everything is fine now. If you're looking for a cheap, large, non-smart TV, this is the TV for you.Update: Customer service was a breeze and the missing parts have been replacedUpdate 2: First was an early Christmas gift for mom. I was so impressed I ordered a second for myself since the price went to $250. This time it came with all the parts and documentation :). Screen and build quality still on par with the first.

This thing is amazing for the price. I wasn't looking to purchase a TV, but I was in a market to step up my PC monitor size from 27" to something bigger, if possible (still using my 27" as a desktop extension on my windows). When I've seen the Black Friday / Cyber Monday $249 deal (was $278) for this TV, I had to try one. I placed an order without seeing any good reviews of how this TV would operate as a computer screen. 3 days later I had my TV delivered. First I opened the box and checked all the contents for missing parts, as at least one reviewer on here was missing some parts. Everything was in the box, so I went ahead to assemble it. Assembly was a breeze - I didn't even need the manual, they even provide you with a phillips screwdriver that you will need for assembly. Hooked it up to my computer & powered it on. I was instantly amazed by the picture of this TV, it more than met my expectations for the price. Full HD is awesome on this screen. Video quality is on par with most of the brand name manufacturers out there. Viewing angles are as good as any other, except for Samsung - from what I've seen. The sound is good, but not great, although at this price you're not going to have it all, because TV makers that put more into their TV's, know that "bells & whistles" are worth the higher price - so they are more than happy to charge us for 'em. This also works well as a PC screen as I've come to find out. Obviously with a bigger screen, the pixels will be more visible if you sit to close, but if you sit farther back or if your vision is not great this works VERY well. I'm glad I've made this purchase. Amazon did great as usual, quick & free shipping and all. I just hope that this oCosmo does as well as my 27" I-Inc (another no name brand) LCD screen as far as reliability & dependability goes. Time will tell, otherwise highly recommended, if no name brands don't intimidate you.
