Great magnet, very strong and came with plenty of length rope to retrieve, very happy with purchase.

Really good magnet but after the first couple of uses the magnet has started to rust but don't let that put you off it works perfectly fine and still pulling stull out of the river daily

Product seems of good solid construction, ie strong rope, solid metal carabiner, screw in eyelets and magnet. However I used this for the first time yesterday in a freshwater stream for about 15 minutes and the following morning the scuffs on the magnet case from hitting rocks were rusted as were the screw threads of the eyelets. The magnet surround is therefore only chromed and the metal underneath is not rust resistant. I also doubt very much that the magnet has the advertised 272kg pulling force (about 3.5 average people) but it should pick up small/medium items. All said I will probably stick with it for now as it was not particularly expensive.

This was the best gift I could’ve bought for my sons for Christmas, they absolutely love it! I didn’t think it would be as popular as it is as both of my sons are into gaming. This little gift has not only encouraged them to spend more time outdoors away from the computer, it’s also brought them closer together. They love comparing the treasures they find. Would definitely recommend! Even the adults love it 😊

very poor magnet strength no wear near the advertized 275 kg as described??

I bought this for my grandson to river fish for old coins extra but it’s also good if you have a bad back and you drop anything metal nails or change saves you bending down 🗝🔑👍

Arrived, well packed within 3 days of ordering, even though the Amazon listing gave 2 July as earliest delivery. I super glued the eyelet in and tested it on metal things around garden and in house. Seems reasonably powerful magnet, the real test will be pulling all that gold bullion from the local canal! Will quite happily submit another review once I have used it in anger, so to speak.
