Exactly same as the with E. The e can only mean electronically. If you remove the label carefully with the RFID chip and put it onto the non-e filters it works just fine keep that label AKA sticker and RFID tag in good shape and you can reuse it many many times on the cheaper and just as good filters without the e.

DOES NOT WORK - ERR message
These don’t work - I found out after the return period closed. Online it says they don’t have a computer chip that GE requires. Zero water will come out and then display reads ERR. What a waste of $28!!

Perfect replacement filter
Good quality, excellent fit, with a bonus of increased water flow over the factory filter. Water quality seems pretty equivalent to factory filter as well and the price made it a no brainer. Easy to recommend this brand.
