Clarks Women's Dunbar Racer

A loafer that resembles a driver moc in appearance. The color is a beautiful neutral camel color in smooth leather with quality ties and top stitching. The underside of the ties are covered so they do not rub on your toes as they do in cheaper shoes. I like the look of them because they are thin and decorated with gold studs on the ends. Tacky uncomfortable ties can ruin the look and feel of your shoes. The inner sole is comfortable and smooth. The sole extends up on the heel for protection against wear and there is a rectangle of rubber for added protection also. I find the toes has the extended length which allows for toes room; I have a long second toe. The width from side to side is a little snug but based on the softness of the leather I expect they will stretch. Beautiful, quality shoes. Better than I expected even from Clarks Artisan.

The length of the shoe was perfect (I wear a 7.5) but it was too narrow.. I do have a wide foot but I am usually fine after they stretch a little bit.. I did return these because I was afraid they would look weird if I was able to stretch them out a little. I might order another pair but I am hesitant about it because I am afraid that if I go up to a size eight the shoe will be too long and will bend at the toe when I walk and leave that crease which I hate. I bought a pair of expensive Nikes one time that did that and I haven't worn them since. Great shoe for petite women with narrow feet.

I wear driving mocs all the time and have my favorites, which unfortunately, are no longer available. I thought I'd take a chance on these based on other reviews. Got them in navy and they are great. Fit is perfect - I am an 8 1/2 medium and bought them in same size and they are perfect fit. Not too snug in toe, and no slipping in heel. I normally wear them without socks, but these could be worn with thin socks but thicker socks would make them too tight. The leather is very soft, and they have a very rich look to them, like a very expensive designer (reminds me of Cole Haan, which I love but now way too expensive at over $200), and they are made very well. I'd love to see them in dark brown and black, but they don't come in those colors.

Very pleased with the comfort, look, feel, and high quality design of this shoe.Can already tell these are going to be the go-to shoe for the entire season and hopefully many more seasons.There are no places that rub/chafe. The leather is supple and ready to wear immediately without break-in needed.I like a bit of room in the toe area and these have it.Frankly, I can't remember a time when I bought this quality and lovely a comfortable shoe at this price.A head's up, the White and the White Leather are the same shoe from what I can see. White leather was not in my size and so I ordered a White. They're leather. And great quality leather at that.Update 06/24/2014I've worn these shoes a couple or more days a week since purchasing. I am still loving the look of this shoe, but the design of the toe ensures you will rub the bottom portion of the white leather tow in a couple weeks. It leaves a somewhat ugly scraped look. The rubber piece on the bottom doesn't come up far enough though I can clearly see why they didn't design it further up; it would change the entire look of the shoe and I probably wouldn't have purchased it.As it stands, I still love the comfort of this shoe and continue to wear it as a kick around city shoe however, pretty much only with jeans now and only when I'm not going anywhere nice. I reduced my star rating to three to more appropriately reflect the design quality versus price of the product.So sad. I won't be purchasing these again though I would like to find a pair like these that do not scuff up so easily.

I have a prosthesis for my right leg. It is extremely hard for me to find shoes I can wear, as I have to have an exact heel height. When I first was fitted with a prosthesis (almost 60 years ago, accident-related), it was easy. All flat shoes had the same heel height - primarily those of a penny loafer. However, over the past several years, styles have changed dramatically. Heel heights range from completely flat up to 1" in casual shoes. I HAVE to have a 1/2" heel height. So this has been a problem for me for years. I ordered more of this type shoe in different colors. For years, I wore St. Johns By Lauren shoes, which are perfect. I cannot find them any longer.

I love driving mocs and these are very stylish and well made. I had ordered both the 7 and 7.5 M and ended up keeping the 7's. I generally wear 7.5 and in a few shoes even an 8. I had already gotten these in black in 7.5 and they stretched a lot so I knew to err on the side of getting a smaller size. If you plan to wear with heavy socks, get your regular size. Otherwise, downsize and see how you like them. They are classic and look great with jeans, khakis and shorts.

The shoes fit well with a pair of favorite brand 3/4 inserts to cushion my walk. They are good for casual dress. I hesitate to wear them outdoors, though as the soles leave some leather on the bottom exposed to the elements. A continuous outer sole and more cushioning for the insole would be nice. If the leather comes in contact with a splash of water it stains quickly but dries without a mark. A very nice clean, trim look though overall! Orange is a versatile, warm and natural looking color. I may use these as 'indoor shoes' only, but they go really nicely with many outfits!
