Good Quality, Great Value
Purchased these for an event and was able to put our handouts in them for the guests. Added a sticker on the front for our logo, and they looked amazing. Great quality folder. They are thicker than some other budget folders I've purchased in the past, which was a pleasant surprise, so they didn't rip or fall apart. I would definitely buy these again.

Pretty Good for Daily Use
I use these folders in my classroom regularly. They last anywhere from 2-5 months for most students. They get used daily. I've tried laminating them but the effort in cutting the "pockets" back open and what-not is not worth it. The students also like decorating the folders. Marker, pen, colored pencil, even crayon transfers well onto the outside. The insides are white and students can write down important information. I like how this came as a box of just one color as the 5-6 color packs always seem to get used unevenly and then you have extras of what might be the "wrong color" if you have subject-by-subject organization.

About a 3 month life span for elementary school students
Any teachers here totally understand the heading - when confronted with the daily abuse of a elementary school student, I would say at the 3 month mark this gal is gonna start looking a bit rough. I have seen some survive for 6 months, but it’s not pretty.If using for adults, I would hope and anticipate they would professionally last longer.

Great for Group
We use these folders for various groups I'm involved with. Just this basic folder is hard to find when not "back to school time". They're also more costly when bought individually. This was just what needed in large quantities@
