Dear Bontmont/Salem’s hookah and gifts LLC, I am sooo happy I found my Natural Gum A.M.:Mistika/mastic gum made in Egypt from your business on Amazon. I am on a low histamine diet because of my lupus and heart condition (and menopause has changed a lot for me too at 51). Every gum like Pur with xylitol or others with high histamine ingredients have caused me to have terrible dryness of my throat and irritation. I cannot believe that I am chewing a healthy form of gum again after needing it when my stomach doesn’t feel that great especially after I take my medicine. This gum is what I have been looking for. Years ago as a young teenager, my ex husband let me try gum from trees that tasted just like this one. I’m not sure if that gum I tried was from Yemen. I never hated the taste but back then preferred sweeter things. I honestly feel I have some Heaven even on earth again for me because this gum is made adorably in the shape of hearts. It is like a gift from God to me through you. I am so grateful and satisfied. I even like other items you sell. The price for the gum is even affordable to me which I need very badly here in Manhattan, NY. The gum is just right in size, smell and texture. I pray you are always blessed with selling your items so that I can buy from you. I also pray I can always have the ability to afford more from you. May God give us good faith, health, safety and wealth. Thank you for what may seem like a little item but it is the little things that matter to me. I am trying to find teas that never irritate me too. I only have decaffeinated. It seems you have a black seed tea? I have to be careful to not have too much black seed. I do have some daily in my soup and use black seed oil on aches and pains. Caffeine irritates my bladder and I always try to avoid having a teas ingredients tighten my chest or bother. I like tea with only one, two or three ingredients in them. I only have decaffeinated coffee now. I do miss eating many things but the things I can eat or drink are beloved to me. Amazing :-) So unusual this will be the first review I have ever written. Very cute unique package of natural sugar free gum is exactly as described.. Plus came with a colorful embroidered gold zippered ~3x5 "Egypt" bag, and took only five days to arrive from Alexandria, Egypt thru Cairo, London, etc. to California USA via DHL shipping. The gum softens up and chews great too, with a hint of flavor that I assume is mastic. All very unusual and fun. Even the outer shipping box was unusually sturdy, and the outer shipping bag had a beautiful image of pyramids and the Nile. What a great gift it would make delivered to a child, though I might also consider their sugared version of the heart gum. BTW these small cute SF hearts expand when chewed. Thanks again, amazing. :-)

Interesting herbal taste, and simple ingredients. Tends to get caught in my teeth, and is perhaps a little bland. but it's certainly worth a try for something different. It's not a burdensome expense to have a far off part of the world shipped to your house.

The candy looks great, it comes well packaged but the taste is very weird. I also ordered some greek mastic gum and by far, the greek gum is way tastier. They're not supposed to be sweet but they're also not supposed to taste like chemicals. I highly recommend the natural chio mistiha gum if you're trying to work out your jawline. Tastier and healthier!

Product is a very natural gum. It is basically like chewing a piece of honeycomb absent the flavor, primary ingredient is Mastic (tree resin). For me I cannot detect any flavor aside from a very very slight, I assume, mastic flavor. This simply a chewing experience vs a need for flavor or sugar. If you know that, then you will be very satisfied with your purchase. I purchased this as an alternative to normal gum which is primarily made from plastic (youtube how gum is made!). After receiving, I found it was not exactly what I was expecting, which was to experience some sort of flavor, but also then did some research and found the numerous health benefits of chewing mastic, from lower cholesterol to settling bowls, antibacterial properties etc, and cleaning teeth even. Each piece of gum is a small flat shaped heart, that seems to expand after the initial chews. The longest I chewed a piece is about 20 minutes, and it maintained its chewing properties. Yes, it is worth a try, and to see if you get any health benefits also. Good Seller, does ship DHL from Egypt, but got still got mine in about a week.

I like the addition of beeswax. It makes it easier to chew, but the flavor is terrible. I quite like the taste of mastic but this doesn't resemble it. It tastes more like a stale spruce. There are plenty of pieces so it should last you a long time if you do like this. I wouldn't recommend this brand if you are needing mastic. I don't think there is enough in it to count.

I just love this gum, it exceeded my expectations. I grew up chewing natural mastic gum and I was thrilled to find one sweetened with honey!! It’s a delicious gum, and the texture is perfect, not too soft or too hard! I love everything about this gum! The shipping from Egypt was super fast! The packaging is great and you get a nice gift of a beautiful Egypt Coin Purse! I received my gum today, and loved it so much that I had to immediately buy one for my sister!

Calling this gum is like calling a castration a surgery. It had the texture of an expired condom and the flavor of plastic. Chewing on the lint out of someone's belly button would be a more flavorful and pleasurable experience.
