Perfect Replacement

It was a direct replacement
The old knob broke where the metal shaft is inserted into the plastic part of the knob. I believe the metal reinforcement will allow it to last longer, but since I have 2 it should last longer than the dryer.

Metal ring makes it stronger
The original knob and 2 replacements all split (where they fit on the stem) after using each for a few years. This one has a metal ring around the plastic, so I'm hoping it will last longer. It fits the dryer nicely.
