I changed out all the duel 10 w. LED lights for one of these to light up my trees in the back yard. What a difference....I only needed one of these lights to light up the whole tree. Even though I had two lights per tree, they couldn't light up the upper branches like this one does....you won't be dissappointed.

Screws and bolts rusted within days. Other then that, it’s a great light for the money

These 30W LED lights will NOT work on 12V-60V--beware! They are rated for 12V-24V AC/DC only. Also, note that your power supply will need to be rated for either 30W+ on DC or 40VA on AC per light; if you are using two lights, for instance, you'll need a 12V DC power supply with at least 5A output, or 24V DC at 2.5A; with 24VAC, you'll need at least 60VA of capacity. Remember, you lose a bit of power in the lines running to the lights, so if you have a choice, go a bit bigger on your power supply.Also, the true dimensions of the 30W lamps are: 7" tall (7.5" with the bracket), 5.5" wide, and 1.75" thick.

Been installed for less than 2 months, and already there is water condensation building up inside. These will not last long. Certainly not waterproof or water resistant, and certainly not IP65. Very disappointed.

I want to drive these off my 12v 240W solar system to light up the entire area. At 12V they both draw about 1.6 amps each which makes them only 20W. The technical data sheet said they are 12 or 24V AC or DC so I went ahead and hooked each one up to 2 batteries in series and they both drew about 1.8 amps at 23V making them about 40W. Knowing how important heat transfer is in LEDs and having received lights from other manufacturers that had very little thermal paste I took these apart to see if they had the proper amount and all was good -- did notice one chip was missing a mounting screw holding the chip to the heat-sink on one of the units. I would have given these a 4 star if the power draw was above 35W for 12V but being as they are being sold as a 12V 50W units they do not come close to meting the requirements. The housing seems good quality so I might purchase some 12/14V LED COBs and replace the ones that came with these units.

Light up the whole backyard. I used the spare irrigation control lines to deliver 30 watts (bought a 36V DC power supply) over a distance of a few hundred feet to these lights. The color is warm and not harsh white.
