It's cute. The "owl sounds" are more like Halloween sound effects and definitely won't scare off anything besides maybe small children dressed in costumes. (A real owl's call carries for miles and resonates. This sounds fake, tinny and only carries a few feet.) LOL However, it seems to be keeping the rabbits and chipmunks at bay so we'll call it a win. Just make sure you put that thing onto a wooden base because it blows over easily, and plan to move it around periodically or the animals will get used to it. It looks as pictured, but it is only the owl itself is only about 10 inches tall. The groundhogs know it's much too small to be a threat to them and ignore it. lol

I think its head is supposed to bobble around and eyes light up. I put batteries in it, but nothing happened. But I guess that doesn't matter, because I'm just pleased big time that birds are completely staying away.

Before getting this decoy, my kumquat tree was attacked by birds. After getting this decoy, I stopped seeing them. The only problem that pesters me is the noises it makes during the night. I have soundproof glass, but it still penetrates through the glass.

After taking forever to get here, I was disappointed in the quality, and it doesn't sound like any owl I've ever heard. The head popped off after a thunderstorm blew it over.

Products came dented in on sides....have to be shipped back to china for a return and not worth the headache....so we have deformed owls that arent really scaring anything away

Don't work either after reflecting decor didnt work tried this . The birds will actually land on it and poop on this to along with the patio furniture and dogs food bowl

I have a small garden and was having trouble with squirrels digging everything up. I tried deterrents such as granules and sprays but they did nothing. I bought one of these owls and put it on a stick in the garden and there has been no activity or sight of squirrels since. I just bought a second one I will use elsewhere or when my tomatoes or berries start fruiting.
