Our sauce is batch-made, once a year, in the remote foothills of the Zambezi Valley in Southern Africa, faithfully following a century-old recipe. Every season creates a vintage, the climate reflected in the wild lemon harvest. The sauce contains no added sugar, vinegar, colorants, or artificial preservatives.

Using only the finest ingredients, with natural rock salt from the Makgadikgadi Salt Pan in Botswana, and fresh-squeezed wild lemon. Our chili is hot smoked twice over English Oak chips and then blended with a secret masala spice mix. Sun-cured in 30-liter batches for 100 days before bottling. This unique process creates a mild, piquant condiment unlike any other. With a strong lemon flavour and complex layers of spice and smoke, this sauce is wonderful as a condiment or as a cooking aid.
