Chroma 99316 Chromacryl Premium Acrylic Paint - 1/2 Gallon - Set of 6 - Assorted Colors

The colors of this group were exactly what I needed, all the primary colors. When the description said assorted colors I was concerned, but what you see in the photo is exactly what I got. I was worried about the ship time so I called the supplier directly and the support tech at the company was extremely helpful. School Specialities is a great supplier. My order came in plenty of time. I will use them again in the future.

I buy chromacryl for use in my high school art classroom, it's a good quality paint for the money. Note that this set does NOT have warm red, as described in the listing. It has cool red, which is a fine red, but it's just a little off from the warm red. The 3 primaries for chromacryl are warm red, cool yellow and cool blue. This is definitely the best white I've found in an economy grade paint.

i teach painting classes, and decided to give this a try as you cannot purchase large quantities in regular craft stores. the paint NEVER fully dries! i paint 5 to 6 pics at a time, to avoid waiting for drying. i painted 5 backgrounds, came back to the pics about 3 days later... started painting on them, and the previous layer of paint (i.e. the background colors) were mixing with the fresh paint!!! for the price, i do NOT recommend.

As an expressionist artist I love these paints because they are cheap, have fairly good color, and have a large brush window - I use a lot of washes, stains, these exceptional workability, non toxic, ez cleanup,

I purchased for a group of 6th graders. We found the paint to be very thick, making it difficult to pour. The colors mix well and provide excellent coverage.

As an art teacher, I'm always looking to work within my public education budget by cutting costs with materials. However, using Chromacryl acrylics was a mistake. The paint, for whatever reason, remains water soluble even after drying. This means that if you paint red and let it dry, and then paint anything over it, the two colors will mix. This is not desirable for acrylic painting. Avoid this brand if at all possible.
