I'm 5'-10" 200 lbs and the XXL fits perfectly. Bought this for beach/resort wear and thoroughly love it! The hood and longer sleeves on the A style are great for sun protection, and the white color makes it very cooling to wear in the summer's heat. It is slightly see through if you're backlit, but not really an issue otherwise.The fabric is soft and it washes without shrinkage. It felt kind of plasticy when I first got it, but one run though the wash brought out the softness in it.I bought a similar item from another seller because they had khaki available. I wish I didn't. it was shorter and shrunk in the first wash. This one is more expensive but I'm going to stay with the quality I know.

For the price this is exactly what I expected, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. Other reviews were correct when they say go one size larger and that’s due to the length on the arms. Otherwise overall length is perfect.The fabric does feel a little tough so I put it in the dryer on the air setting with a fabric softener just to loosen it up some.

Size up for comfort....

Really thin material. 6'2" 270lbs. 2X was recommended. Tight and not sure if it will rip or not. I'll try it for a few days and see how it wears. But right now, I'll probably return it.

Its great for when you are lounging around the house. The sleeves were a little short but, that was to be expected. Super comfy! Buy a size up if you are not sure.

Edit: still very happy with this piece, but after a normal wash/dry cycle, it shrunk like A LOT. For me, that was good. While it was almost touching the ground around my feet before washing, it's now higher than my ankles, so a few inches of shrink all over. Keep that in mind when sizing!I'm really happy with this garment and I'll be buying more in the future. It's thin and breathable and feels great to wear. As far as the sizing, I'm 5'9" at about 245 lbs, so i have a belly. Despite the fact that l/xl is my usual size, i ordered this in a XXL after reading comments about it running small. It's a loose garment, so I'm not exactly sure what the fit should be. The bottom hem comes almost to the ground on me, and while it does feel loose, it doesn't feel overly large. I'll get an XL just to see what that's like (maybe if it were a touch more fitted around the chest and shoulders it would feel like something I could wear out. The loose fit of the XXL feels perfect for at home use).

I use this hooded robe as a night shirt, which I also wear around the house and yard throughout the day. I love it and want another! It is perfect for warm weather as the fabric is thin and VERY breathable, plus the small slits on the legs' sides allow for further breeze. The hood can add a warming or cooling factor depending; for example: it is perfect for extra warmth on cold summer nights; and provides a cool shading in the sun. The fabric wasn't as flexible as I thought it'd be, but nonetheless, is not restrictive and is surprisingly comfortable!!! It is also nice because it does not tend to wrinkle under me when I'm in bed or sitting down. One thing that surprised me about this garment was the chest slit; it was longer than I expected (and I'm a woman, so ... yeah), but it would be easy to sew ... and in the mean time, so long as I don't lean over too far in front of someone, it's all good.
