As described. Very pleased. Deep and spacious.only issue was i wanted white but somehow it seemed i clicked silver so sent an email straightaway to inform/asvise prior to shipping however they stiill sent the silver saying i should refuse delibery which i think is nonsense.!! Needless to say they delivered it in my absence and rhe neighbour collected it so 2 much hasale 2 return so av kept it. It fits in nicely with my decor so will keep it. All i all a very nice finish and stylish

Looks great, big, plenty of space and very comfortable to sit on. Well made and sturdy. Heavier than it looks hence the sturdiness. Would recommend without a doubt. Stylish item...very nice.

This was purchased as part of a renovation of a room for beauty and other treatments. Used for storing towels and other items.The unit is well made, and very attractive. It is comfortable to sit on, appears of quality construction and the black lining is even and attached well.The gas strut is particularly welcome as you aren't removing or holding up the lid to make use of it.It is worth noting that the unit is higher (due to the legs) than similar products and we specifically selected it because it was so suitable for people to sit on putting on shoes etc. We were not disappointed.A reviewer pointed out the plastic crystal buttons on the lid, and I was surprised to see they thought it was tacky. I suppose this is a taste hint; were rather fussy and do not like gaudy things, but we think they look great and thankfully do not effect the comfort at all.The only reason we didn't award five stars is that the packaging was adequate only. Items were banging around inside, but a plastic wrapping protected the finish of the material.

So happy with this. Heavy duty ottoman, large for storing my bags and couple pairs of boots. Very classy looking and comes ready made so no assembly apart from screwing the feet on. I love the lid because it stays open and I don't have to hold it open with one hand while chucking stuff inside with the other.Delivery date stated 17-21 March and it arrived on the 14th...super happy customer, I love it.

When the ottoman failed to arrive within the forecast delivery period I looked at the tracking details provided. To my dismay the carrier selected by CrownbedsUK had recently been featured in a TV documentary where staff had been filmed throwing, dropping, standing on, stepping on and walking on parcels in their warehouse. I don't know whether this carrier had a hand in the carriage process, but it was a different company that made the actual delivery to our door. Inspection of the box before signing for its receipt revealed a couple of small holes in the outer skin, but fortunately the inside surface of the box had not been punctured.The ottoman came in a box made from 5mm thick, double wall cardboard. The box fitted tightly around the ottoman which meant it gave protection from scuffs and light knocks, but would be totally useless for the kind of handling we had seen in the TV documentary. The top left hand corner of the front face of the ottoman was broken inwards, as if someone had stood on it. The lid does not sit squarely on the base, it is slightly twisted clockwise. Whether this is because of poor workmanship at the factory or because of rough handling by the carrier(s), is difficult to say. In every other respect the quality of workmanship is very good, so it's difficult to believe it would have left the factory with the lid fitting so poorly.For the price and even allowing for the faults, this is an exceptionally good value ottoman. We decided to keep this one rather than ask for a replacement since we might get one that arrives in even worse condition. With this purchase the saying comes to mind, “don't spoil the ship for an ha'p'orth of tar”.

So disappointed with ottoman it was 5 days late to arrive when it came took it out of the box and cut the box up and put it in the dust bin before putting the feet on Than when I looked at the ottoman the top did not fit square and one of the hinges had broke from the back I know I should have sent it back but what a hassle so I repaired it my self the back hinge screws had split the chip broad I glued the broken bit back on and moved the hinge along the back so I say again I am so disappointed
