Exo Terra Glass Natural Terrarium Kit, for Reptiles and Amphibians, Nano Tall, 8 x 8 x 12 inches, PT2601A1

For reference I am a serious exotic pet-keeper, and this is the absolute best enclosure I have come across. I am planning on investing in other sizes for my other pets when I can afford them.- The residents of this Nano are C. morosus walking sticks (stick bugs). They were loaded in en masse as nymphs and are now subadults, but quite large. It's hard to count them all amidst the foliage, but something like ten sticks are living in here comfortably.- The front access, top access, and mesh are invaluable. I had no idea that my sticks would spend 80% of their time on the roof, so I shudder to think how I would have used a traditional top-opening enclosure without losing sticks every time I opened it.- The doors are very secure but easy to open.- To my knowledge, no nymphs (c. 1.5") were able to get behind the backdrop, though I can see how one might be concerned; I filled the substrates a bit higher to ensure nobody could get down and behind, but mine was very well-fitted and high quality.- The size is honestly a fair bit larger than I expected it to be (I was envisioning it -- incorrectly -- as going to be about the size of a small "betta bowl" but square, and this is fantastically larger, not so "nano" at all.- This is an excellent choice, because of the verticality, for arboreal creatures. I would recommend a different size/shape for any terrestrial pets.P.S. For anyone else looking for stick maintenance, look up the Snake Discovery video on stick care. I followed her instructions fairly exactly and have a lot of very happy sticks.

I use this one for my RETF and immediately bought another one for a baby White’s Tree Frog. There is front opening and also a top opening, ventilation beneath the door as well so overall this is really nice.

Nice sturdy cage with two openings. I bought this for my tree frog and it’s the perfect size. I love that you can open the front or top of the cage.

Perfect for my baby crested gecko. It loves it! Though it does hold allot of moisture I recommend spraying only as the levels go down

This small terrarium is one of the best on the market for baby arboreal reptiles, amphibians, or medium arboreal tarantulas. It is well ventilated with easy access doors and a large field of view. It can easily hold decorations and false/real foliage in addition to the assets of the animal dweling in it.This said, it is not without small flaws.It's lock seems a tad on the weak side for what it needs to hold in. Though it has never failed I have another lock on the enclosure to prevent escape. It also very poor at holding humidity. Due to the ventilation and open screen top, an animal needing humidity of 70% or more will need at least two mistings a day, while an animal needing 90% or more will need three mistings to achieve the desired humidity. Overall it is a sturdy and beautiful setup for an animal that is certainly worth it's reasonable cost.

I bought this smaller terrarium after getting a larger one from a different brand. The large one had an odd configuration of cable holes that I had to remove and screen over. This one though, the cord port is on the top and has a slide on it to cover unnecessary holes. This is a very well designed case!!

This is the perfect terrarium for growing a few nice plants, or giving a home to small animals and insects. I plan on using it as a home for my Giant Asian Mantis once it gets big enough to eat larger prey items than fruit flies who could easily crawl out of the vented top. I also love that you can open it from the top or from the hinged glass door on the front. Great for giving a hungry mantis food while not disturbing it while it hangs upside down from the top mesh.The open mesh top can also sport a sun lamp to give your plants and animals some exposure on dark gloomy winter days. There are also many other accesories for this terrarium sold by exo terra as well to fit anyone's individual needs.Keep in mind though that this particular terrarium is not very big. If you want to keep animals in it I would reccomend restricting the terrarium's residents to smaller creatures such as anoles, mantids, tarantulas, ect.The vented mesh lid is close knit enough to prevent most critters from escaping, but smaller prey items like fruit flies or small crickets.All in all, this is a nice little terrarium that can house many different things. I highly reccomend this to insect hobbyists and indoor planters alike.

I love exo terra products and this one is no exception. Cheapest cost high quality terrarium on the market for this size. Everything about the build quality is great. It’s the perfect starter terrarium for most small geckos and other critters. I really like the integrated lid latching system. Overall, it looks great and is of high quality. I use this for up to 15gram crested geckos.
