Broan-NuTone C350BN Replacement Motor/Wheel (NuTone 696N A housing), 50 CFM,, n/a

After confirming that the old fan was indeed faulty by testing it for continuity, I decided to give this new fan a try. The installation process was impressively quick and straightforward. It actually took longer to unbox the fan than to install it! It only took about 3 minutes from start to finish. I simply unplugged the old fan, unscrewed it, unlocked it, and pulled it down. Installing the new fan was just as easy, following the same steps in reverse order.One thing to note is that this new fan is slightly louder than my old one, with a noise rating of 4.0 scones compared to the old one's 2.0 scones. However, this was the direct replacement fan, so I don't think there was anything I could do about that. What made this purchase even better was that I found it in a 'used, like new' condition for an even lower price, and it looked absolutely perfect.Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this bathroom exhaust fan. It was easy to install, cost-effective, and I got it in excellent condition. The slight increase in noise is a minor trade-off for having a functioning and efficient fan in my bathroom again.

This snapped in perfectly and replaced the stuck one that was probably over 20 years old. I couldn't even find a model # on the old one but the dimensions indicated this had to be the one and it was.

Replaced a bathroom fan that ceased to work. This replacement is the designated model by Broan Nutone. It fit well in the existing box and worked well. However, this replacement has a higher sound rating (4) than the original (2.5) and is louder than we like. We will probably look for another solution.

I replaced a fan that was almost 10 years old in a few minutes. It works great and is way easier, and cheaper, than having a contractor out to replace it.Anyone can do it!

Quiet. Fits, Simple install. Had to reverse the fan. Plus it into a wall outlet to test. You may notice that the fan is blowing outward/downwards. Another test is to hold a piece of paper a against the grill to see if it sucks it inward or blows outward. Be careful with your fingers.Note: take the opportunity to vacuum/clean inside grill. There can be a lot of build up over time.Great value for the price 👌.

The fan fit perfectly in the housing, although I did have to bend the edges of the metal of the fan mount slightly to slide it in. Otherwise worked fine. Not a 10-minute job, however, especially if you want to clean the gunk out of the fan housing before installing the new fan.

My old fan died so I need to have a replacement and thanks to 2 included base plates I was able to fit my current ventilation and successfully installed new fan in 10 minutes.

I bought this as a replacement for a 25-year-old bathroom fan. It is a perfect replacement and fit the housing without any modifications. It slips into the old ceiling box and screws into place with a single screw. No need to go up into the attic. Installation took just a couple of minutes.The only problem is that at 4 sones, it is a bit noisier than the 2.8 sone fan it replaced. I couldn’t find anything quieter than 4 sones that wouldn’t involve climbing into the attic and replacing the entire fan housing. Perhaps this company no longer makes the 2.8 sone fan. It’s a shame.

Very easy and simple replacement. Excellent. Noise level is quite good.

It was so easy to install and the part fit perfectly. Noise level is on the higher side, but worth the effectiveness factor!

Good value for money. A little noisy but works well and was easy to install. Had it for a few weeks now. Will update if it breaks down.

In my case the fan fit into the opening perfectly and worked great afterwards. I have attached 2 pictures with the measurements to give you an idea of the size so that you can make sure it’s the right fit. Otherwise the installation only took 5 minutes and was instantly ready to go.
