Beautiful and functional
It's beautiful! I get many compliments about it. You should have 2 people to put it together.

BROKEN ITEM
I just received my items (3 packages) yesterday and getting it ready to put together today. When I opened one of the boxes, this is what I found.

Just bought this product so I don't know how it will work out in the long run -- see the other reviews for details.The Good: Very nice looking. Fairly easy to assemble.The Not So Good: Some of the hardware was missing entailing another trip to the store to retrieve the missing screws. The product has been modified, the instructions haven't, As a result there are discrepancies between the directions and the pieces you are trying to assemble. The instructions aren't very well done. The images are too small to be of use and vague. As each of the three boxes comes with a set of directions it obviously isn't a cost saving move.

Appears nice
It looks good, appears to be pretty well made but it does sag a little bit in the middle. Make sure you use the size screws with each section.

Looks can be deceiving.
This bed does not have a full back panel to it. It's just the top piece that you can see. If you don't get a really thick mattress you will have a hole in the bed the height of a pillow. From side to side. Plus, you need an xl mattress for this bed. If you just get a regular mattress you will have a huge gap between the mattress and one of the side panels.

Abysmal product quality
Very poor quality. The wood started sagging withing one month of sitting and sleeping on it. The lower drawer for the second mattress gets caught because the wood above is sagging and so it cannot be opened. The piece is also ridiculously heavy. Do not buy this product. Especially from Value city furniture.
