I was surprised to read so many bad reviews. I love these nails, especially the dark gray color. This color is hard to find especially with the mirror reflective look. I trim my real nails after removing the used pair. Clean up the cuticles, go over the nails with a file to remove any old glue, ( I never use the glue pads) and clean off the dust from filing, with polish remover to make sure the nail bed is clean. Use a good grade nail glue and they always last for two weeks or more if I want them to, but they should be removed after two weeks. I also apply a fast drying clear coat onto the underside of the nail tip and one coat to the nail. They don’t pop off, they don’t lose their color, and the metallic polish doesn’t scratch or come off. I hope these tips help. These nails are so pretty and are one of my favorites. I have used other nails with the reflective polish finish and never have problems with them either. I believe it is because of the prepping I always do before wearing the reflective coated nails regardless of the color. They always stay for at least two weeks.

I am so disappointed because these nails are beautiful and the shape is perfect. Unfortunately the application is difficult with the adhesive pieces that come with the nails and they pop off easily. I used nail glue with the second set and it wasn't any better. The nails still popped off even after applying to a clean dry nail with a filed surface and holding firmly for 30 seconds and staying away from water overnight. If the glue touches the nail surface the color rubs off the nail and transfers onto your skin. The color mixed with glue runs into and covers the cuticle which gives the appearance of a dirty nail.

Loved these nails but the metallic finish wore off.

These nails are gorgeous, but they chip and scratch if you so much as look at them sideways. The finish as it comes is NOT durable at all. So I tried applying different clear top coats (Sally Hansen Mega-Shine, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat, and Revlon #771 Clear) but all of them melted the mirror chrome finish and ruined it. Finally I tried a gel top coat that you cure with a UV light and that works great! I love that when you glue on these nails with Kiss Maximum Speed Nail Glue (instead of using the double sided sticky tabs that come in the box), they last for two weeks or more! They form a bond with the glue like no other nail I've ever used. And I've been wearing glue on nails for 30 years. The trick is just that you have to use a UV light-cured top coat to keep them from chipping. Update: After ordering several times, I have noticed that the color is not consistent from batch to batch. Sometimes the nails are more pinkish, other times almost completely chrome silver. None of the nails are as pink as the photo.

I loved the ease of the application. No directions given so here is what I did. A tip for you is you will want rough up your nail with the provided file first. Wipe off dust. Then place the double sided sticker. Make sure you place a sticker big enough to cover entire nail. Make sure you press on well. Then place nail on with very firm pressure. They do take time to get use to because they feel like they will pop off,but they wont. So far I've had on a week and none have popped off. My only complaint is how the metalic wears off fast as you can see. I think it is just from normal of washing hands. I will follow up revie with how nails look underneath when I remove them. I want to see how long they stay on. If these were not metalic, just a normal color, I'd remove. From a distance, you can barely tell of the metalic wearing coming off. Poor quality. Came in the package with the plastic tails for manufacturing still attached. Aka the factory didn't bother to grind down the injection molding tabs during manufacture. Since these are reflective mirror, that makes them unusable as filing the injection tabs down will scratch the mirror finish of the edge of the nail.

Not only did I read comments stating that if you put a top coat on the top of these nails and the ones I got are the Smokey gray color or whatever you call it that the paint would stay on longer, well guess what? It took my gray Smoky color off and made him look silver. I only wore them for 2 days and I didn't even wash dishes because I have severe rheumatoid arthritis in my hands but the paint still came off with the nails even with the top coat of layer on top that took the gray off and made them aluminum silver then at the third day the nail started to split everyone of them started split I had to trim them down with nail clippers file them and then they just continuously split so for one week I got to wear these nails I don't think that I would purchase these ever again due to the fact that I can get the brand kiss that lasted a lot longer and well made. So if you're just looking for some nails that to wear for just a overnight thing or party or whatever I guess you'll be all right to get but you got to be very careful because they will split and break easily and however I did not use the sticky things I used nail glue.
