I've been looking for some individual solar lights to hang from iron crooks in the garden but a lot of lights come on one long wire which would not be suitable.I ordered a set of these lights and was so pleased I ordered another 2 sets. (One as a gift) They look great in the day as they are fairly unobtrusive but in the evening they look lovely and are much brighter than you'd expect. They are not difficult to set up and as they are Mason jars they are sturdy and perfect for the job. I do plan to get them in for the winter.If you're looking for a simple but effective solar light these are just the job!

I hang these around the pergola I have in my garden and it looks nice at night. I never thought it would work, but I leave it on all the time so it absorbs the sunlight during the day time (if there’s any!) and switches itself on at night. Sometimes the lights do not come on and you need to open the jar and given the wires/lights a bit of a wiggle), then it switches on again! They are not strong enough to light up the seating area in the garden but merely for decoration purposes but it may work better if you have more? I only have 4 jars. My friends have seen them and also ordered them for her garden! Not sure how long they will last but for now so far so good so I recommend them.

I bought these to hang in our garden and for one to give to my girlfriend on our anniversary as a 'happiness jar'.I filled the one with heart-shaped confetti which sticks to the inside of the glass, and a number of heart-shaped cards with things I love about my girlfriend, finished off with a good satin bow. When it lights up, it looks absolutely beautiful.The lights take a while to charge but now are very bright and last a long time. They do come with an 800mAh AA battery inside which can be replaced with a higher capacity one so they would stay on for longer, but this is more than adequate.The glass itself is thick enough to withstand small drops but I would still be careful.

These are very nice. Now that it’s spring they get enough charge from the sun to light up at night and last well into late morning. However that is not the case in the winter when they don’t get enough sun to them. I would still recommend them though. I did find it really difficult to identify what the mAH (milliampere hour) value was for these, as I believe that in general batteries are getting better, charging faster and holding a longer charge, so worth checking this value. Some of the other manufacturers are providing these details.It is also worth mentioning that you can purchase the solar jar tops and hanging wire, so that you just provide the mason jar and led lights, so worth searching around.

Three out of the four don’t work! It will be interesting to see if the seller contacts me as I can’t contact them.

I purchased these 2 years ago and only 2 work now. After a couple of months they were all rusty and moisture kept getting trapped inside which made the light look foggy. I even have them under a tree so they are a bit more protected to the weather conditions. They look absolutely lovely when lit though.
