The brackets that hold ceramic flanges in place feel stripped, won't come out, I assume they are just screwed into fire bricks. Ceramic flanges themselves are just barely too small for crucibles so they require some sanding before using, as I assume they'll expand a bit when heated. First crucible got stuck in flange and screws are stripped on the brackets that hold them in place. The fire brick walls are relatively thin, so there's a lot of air space. More air space = more time to heat up crucible, more wear on crucible due to oxidation, so shorter life of the crucibles, along with a lack of efficiency due to lower insulation properties. The casting flask had bent rods that hold it together so that required some sanding for an easy fit... Overall, I'm disappointed in such quality from a product that's supposed to be made in USA.
