The device stopped working during the first use. While I was copying some files, I received the message that the drive needs to be reformatted before it can be accessed. I could not access it anymore, so I decided to reformat it. Windows could not reformat it however, giving the message that the drive is write-protected. I tried to clean and reformat it using Diskpart command. But this did not work either, which confirmed that the drive itself is corrupted.

I think the title of this review says it all. I've had zero problem using this, and I recommend it, unless speed is an issue for you. I transferred a ton of photos and videos to it and it took quite some time, but I simply left it to do its thing while I did other things. It's small, the protective cap fits nicely, and other than speed, zero problems.

The drive is great and east to use. I can store more information on it as needed and best of all I can take it with me wherever I need it.Anyone can use it. I use mine to store programs that I purchased. I can also use it in the car by putting music on it and plug it into the radio and the radio will play the music MP3's that I have on it.

Patriot was my favorite USB branch because of their price and quality. Not this time with the 64 GB USBs, the size I never tried before! I ordered three of them. The first one gave me all kind of writing errors that I decided to return it. The other two was ok; two out of three worked. The return process was easy and convenient; amazon.com sent me a replacement within a week, and it worked this second time. I need to be more careful when choosing the 64 GB USB in the future.

Price is about average but the performance is very slow.Bought this for my wife to backup and move files but it will only write in the 2-3MB a second range. It will read only 10MBs range as well.Both of those are VERY slow especially for a 64gb flash drive.Skip Patriot and buy another brand.

It works, it was cheap, but it wasn't perfect.My vehicle (GM) has a USB port for music, this brand of flash drive works, but my vehicle doesn't store the what song it was playing. I purchased a better quality USB flash drive and it works fine in my GM, so now, if I turn of the vehicle I don't go back to the first song.

I accidently left my Patriot 64gb USB on my pants when I wash them, left it outside for a while until it dried, then I tested it on my computer and guess what! It still worked and all my files were there! Currently I use it to transfer large documents from one computer to another it works great!

It's really great that the quality of the product, I very like it, so hope you'll like it too. Thank you!
