Flies Direct Muddler Minnow Assortment Trout Fishing Flies (1-Dozen)

Good flies that definitely catch fish, but don't hold up that well. Was sight fishing and had a nice cutthroat take my first cast. Fly got mangled on that first catch, specifically the tail and top feathers and wouldn't float right after that. Still got a few rises with it but no takes. Was as simple as tossing on a new fly though and was immediately able to hook up on one of the fish that just rejected the old fly. At less the a dollar each they are definitely worth the price even if you only get one fish per fly. Would buy again

These are just OK. They look like they will work but they are just not done correctly. They will catch a few fish. I tie my own flies and I know how to do these flies correctly. One of the best flies ever if done correctly. I hate spinning hair so I try to find these so I do not have to spin any more. In short if you know what makes this a great fly, this is not it. Better than not having any Muddlers.

Decent selection of sizes, float well as dry flies, and definitely catch trout! Barbs are easy enough to crimp.Very consistent build to each one.The only complaint is some of the eye-holes in the hooks are very small, and require REALLY pulling back on the material to get line through it.Bigger hooks are fine.

These are ok, not the highest quality and some are a little weird. Keep in mind you're getting a great price, and they are on Amazon. These aren't high end flies, so great for the beginner or someone that loses a lot of flies. And guess what? They still catch fish.
