I purchased this to descale rust from my travel trailer frame.My plans were to do it in sections. I started and discovered how bloomin' well this tool works. WOW!!Use goggles or a face shield and safety glasses to protect your eyes (not just safety glasses). I found out the hard way.It works well and is a easy on air consumption. Very Happy...

After owning a lower grade needle scaler for the last few years, I can wholeheartedly say that you get what you pay for with these tools. This tool uses a fraction of the cfm (6 cfm I believe) and hits harder and faster than any one I’ve ever used. I’m using this more compact “detail” oriented scaler in many more scenarios than I expected. I primarily do classic auto restoration work and would normally use it for frames, rear ends, and anywhere “scale” rust or years of paint layers are common. I’ve since started using this tool with very light pressure in areas like the sheet metal behind rear bumpers. The areas where I’d spend endless hours trying to sand/grind paint layers away from convex contours and overlapping spot welded seams… now only take minutes and are down to bare metal. Zero deformation from light hand pressure. It’s a dream come true.
