Q: where are the direction for bead expansion? How much water is need?

Unfortunately there are no instructions. As to how much water there is really no measurement either. I tried it first in a regular 8 ounce cup with 10 pellets filled with water a little over halfway. Once they extend to their full size they don’t take any more water. My advice would be to just put them in a large container with water let them expand and then place them in your arrangement. I left my soaking overnight but that much time is not needed. When I did my trial they expanded in about an hour or at least that’s when I remember to check 😁.

Q: Could we use food coloring to change the color?

I tried using food coloring but after awhile the color fades in the water and makes the beads look muddy. It's best to order the color and then order a submersible light in the color of the waterbead to deepen the color.

Q: I wanted to put these in a fish bowl for a center piece. It should be ok right?

This would be without the fishes right? What i bought was pur ti grow since the 20th of july and is still in the same bucket i checked on them today. They were too much for the kids to use all of them. So unless its not for a lot of center pieces use half. They are about half inch fully yielded maybe a little bigger.
