Horizontal Blind Tilt Converter; Make Corded Tilt Blinds into Wand Tilt Blinds

Note: I didn't buy this for the accompanying product setup.I bought this to replace the wand turner for a Levolor cordless 2" faux wood blind. The metal gears on the 3 year old original had failed.The rectangular rod in this particular blind is located higher up and is an uncommon size. I couldn't find another product on Amazon or elsewhere in stores or online that met either of these dimensions.This product provided a solution that took me a few years to find.One of the various rod inserts fit my rod perfectly! Since this turner wasn't designed to mount inside a rail, floating, the higher rod location was accommodated by the orientation resulting in it actually resting on the window frame and some slight tension in the slot for the wand. Attaching a wand would require a small keyring or other coupling, I may have used a paperclip bent with some pliers.

Our 2017 Levelor blinds horizontal tilt mechanism quit working on our 72” faux wood cut to size blinds. They no longer make the part to fix it. I found these that offered a variety of tilt rod sizes and they worked like a charm!! Easy to install and much less expensive than having to replace all of the blinds in our home (cause I couldn’t have them not match😜). Very pleased and would HIGHLY recommend. I used a hook that came with our dog’s rabies tags from to attach the old handles🤗

Did not realize this adapter requires going into the molding of the blinds. Thought I would loop the hanging strings through to convert it into a wand. Return policy is good, so just writing this to make sure people buying know what it is

I have levolor blinds and this device broke and they do not make replacement!! Can’t find the replacement for my blinds, original is plastic.. Texas heat it didn’t last 5 years. Everyone of the replacement online is different. .. I bought this and it fits all blinds!! I bought 2 extra ones to have on hand for other blinds in the house.

I had an old set of skylight blinds that had an irregularly shaped tilt rod. One of the inserts from this kit fit it perfectly!

So I purchased these to use in conjunction with Current Products' E-Wand Starter Kit. My horizontal Bali wood blinds were string draw, and needed to be the rod style. These converters were not difficult to install and ultimately did the job, but created a number of issues. These units just float inside the head rail and are supported solely by the internal drive rod, and also the shaft of these converters are substantially longer than comparable units. These two factors wound up making the installation of the E-Wands much more difficult than necessary. If I were to do it again, I would've bought a different brand of converter that locked into the head rail and had a shorter shaft.

Item works but not very well. There is no way to lock it onto the bar that turns so the blinds open up/down etc.. it just floats on said bar. With use it may come off the bar, wait and see.
