Easy to use. My laptop reads it immediately. You can turn usb ports on and off. Comes with adapter for more power which I need.

I used this to run multiple usb powered items surrounding my XTool laser. It runs lights, fans, anything else I need no problem! Great item for unique situations.

I've had this unit for just about 9 months now, so this is with daily use, lots of on and off on ports with USB sticks, USB SSDs and USB hard drives. I picked this up with the express purpose of replacing 2 failed Anker USB hubs. Both of the metal body units has shorted internally. This seemed a good choice being it had the buttons so I could unmount and then turn off power to the drive, and it being plastic bodied meant I wouldn't need to deal with shorting. The blue lights are a nice touch since they let me know at a glance what is enabled and what is not. Overall it worked as expected and did great for what I use it for. Using the power supply with it meant I could run some rather high draw HDDs on it, but it did fine with 1 or 2 units when not using that power adapter. Now as a note, a big reason for the 5 stars is the Sabrent customer service. I had one of the buttons and a separate buttons light go out. The bad button just wouldn't stay activated anymore and another ports light wouldn't let me know when things were activated. I used this with heavy use once every 2 weeks, turning them on and off multiple times on that day, sometimes 10-20 times, and regular days they'd be turned on and off 1-2x. After reaching out about this issue and a similar button failure on a USB 2 version of this, they had a new one at my door in 2 days. They checked in, kept in touch throughout, checked in again after it was marked received to make sure it worked. Absolutely stellar as far as customer service goes. As far as the unit goes, it would be a 4 star unit, because of the failures and because it's clearly built to the $ with plastics being the most prominent thing. All in all though, I doubt I'd change anything about that except fixing the button fatigue failure issue. It's been a great unit for the money.

So far this little Hub is working well. I have it connected to my PC via a 10 foot USB extension cable to run a small sim racing setup. Running a Keyboard, Mouse, Moza R5 Wheel Hub, and HShifter.
