Healthy, tasty, gluten free!
I had a really hard time finding buckwheat pasta made without wheat. Ifound one other brand and it just fell apart. Love that not only is this one gluten free, but it's made with sweet potato. Good, neutral taste. Doesn't taste very strong of buckwheat, and i wouldn't know it had sweet potato unless you told me. Glad i read other reviews that mentioned the wrappers! Remove each sleeve of noodles and undo the wrapper - DON'T JUST DUMP THE WHOLE PACKAGE IN THE WATER! It seemed to make less than a regular package of spaghetti. We are no more (maybe even less) than usual, and the were no leftovers. From a typical package of spaghetti we have another serving or 2 left over.

So good I kept the bag to remember
I have immune issues and a gluten allergy so my mom will get me things from the owajamia in Seattle (I'm in tx). This was so yummy, I kept the bag. I'm so glad it's on Amazon now cause it's easy to cook, has fiber (hard to keep up with gf) and because it's quality, it's very tasty. 10 out of 10. Good pasta.

Sticky, but still the best gf option
Most soba noodles are made with wheat flour and only a little buckwheat flour; these are almost entirely buckwheat flour and are certified gluten free. I haven't figured out how to keep them from clumping and sticking while cooking, but apart from that they taste great and are the only soba noodle option for a celiac person like me.

A gluten free noodle that holds up
& tastes good! A perfect sub for ramen noodles. Doesn’t disintegrate Taste leans toward soba noodles.

Gummy mess!
Really disappointed. Gummy and stuck together from the second you put it in the water. No separate consistency just gummy mess. I’m a big fan of sweet potato noodles and buckwheat noodles and I thought this would be the bomb but definitely not.

Best gluten free noodles I’ve had!
Let me start by saying this is the best gluten free NOODLE I’ve had hands down. It’s so close to actual wheat noodles that most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference! As someone who is Japanese, I’ve had a lot of soba in my life and for those of you wanting a real soba experience, then this might not hit the mark. It doesn’t taste like soba to me nor does the texture match soba. It’s much closer to a chewy somen. That said this noodle is still absolutely delicious and I recommend it to anyone!

Good but poorly labeled- bad cooking experience
I wish there was some warning that they have individually tied the noodles into 4 or 5 logs! It was a hard lesson to learn, idk if all soba noodles come this way but i had my water boiling and just cut the package and dumped them in like i do with all other noodles, not knowing they were all individually tied into like four rolls. Just heads up to anyone- they will completely fuse together in the water if you dont know about or remember this step, i ended up having to throw out the majority of them because they became these huge goopy noodle logs because i didnt remove the tape holding the rolls together in the package 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. I was super frustrated about that, but the ones i salvaged tasted great and texture is yummy and holds together well, great alternative for health conscious GF cooks. (I like that they reheat with liquid well if they are cooked and refridgerated)

I love this gluten free and organic pasta option!
I do like the flavor and texture. I need gluten free foods and I prefer these to many other types of gluten free pasta. Theses noodles don't need to cook as long as some other pastas, so I'm still getting used to paying closer attention to the time. The texture is a bit different from many other gluten free pastas, but I like these. I love eating them covered in a homemade veggie-filled tomato sauce, sometimes with sausage and/or meatballs.

Good alternative to pasta once in a while.

Delivered very quick and in perfect condition. During cooking noodles the smell of buckwheat is slightly overpowering but once noodles are drained and seasoned they are perfect. They absorb the spices very well. They have amazing texture. They don’t stick together. I am really pleased with them. They do have slightly nutty taste to them without seasoning.

Good flavour, but there is no method I can find to stop it clumping into a gooey mess! I could not serve this to anybody else, but am happy eating it myself. I would actually buy again!

If you follow the instructions these are great: (I even cooked them in the microwave -stirring vigorously to seperate with a fork every 2 mins). Rinsing in cold water and a spot of sesame or olive oil keeps them separate for inclusion in stir fry or saladdishes. V tasty!

I love the noodles but don't forget to use lots of water when you cook them
